For those who think last night was a signature win

Gilby ended his first season strong with a repeat NW championship that included our last win over Oregon and our third straight over the Dynasty in Pullman.
Then went 1-10 and got fired.
Ty never really had a signature win other than Syracuse. He had signature almost wins like USC and the first half of the Oklahoma game. Fucking doogs
Sark beat USC twice and won a Holiday Bowl and popped off.
We need a signature season and of course, beat Oregon nothing else matters -
I don't even know what that term means.

Hey man I was there. I guess I dooged it up when Kenny James scored an easy early TD. Mostly I was just drunk as fuck.RaceBannon said:Gilby ended his first season strong with a repeat NW championship that included our last win over Oregon and our third straight over the Dynasty in Pullman.

Norman sucks, but the people were friendly. Got laid twice on that trip. One of the chicks was hot, one was fat, but it's all pink on the inside. Still, gotta love the southern hospitality.
What were we talking about? -
I am at the same conclusion, this USC team is going to finish around 7-5...
.... However...
.....it was still a solid win. I still feel we go 6-6. I don't think we will really know how all of this going to pan out for a while yet, which is nauseating. Sniff was a little better last night, and the team showed a winning attitude and decided to FINISH!
Race had the script, the producers felt the original one was a little too Hollywood and chiseled it down but the general premise that Sark is a fucktard held true. -
Not a signature win but a good win and the defense looks solid.
Remember, a very young team. -
Who is calling it a signature win? It's fair to say LIPO though.
-
Can I finish my cup of coffee first before we start downplaying this big win.
-
I relished in the win last night.
Sarks squad was sloppy, penalty laden, and his signature play calling was true to form.
Not even Jesse FS Palmer and the refs could will a trojan win.
The defense knew what was coming and USC mirrored their coach thinking they could just show up and win.
There have few brighter spots for uw in the last 15 years. -
There's no such thing as a signature win. Gene Chizik won a national championship. How's that for a signature win? And then he was door ass out faster than UW could fire Ty. Signature losses could be a thing though.
-
I love winning.

It almost explains why we (we???) were pissed off last week.RaceBannon said:I love winning.

did the UW sell t-shirts commemorating the first half of the Oklahoma game?

It would be nice if the people who ran around crying that the sky was falling during the bye week could admit they went overboard....

They might still be right thoughHFNY said:It would be nice if the people who ran around crying that the sky was falling during the bye week could admit they went overboard....

The offense still sucks and I've always said the defense is good. Last year was still a huge disappointment and I'm still pissed about the Cal game and Petersen/Smith being retarded and not running the ball more.HFNY said:It would be nice if the people who ran around crying that the sky was falling during the bye week could admit they went overboard....

If you were setting odds based on the last decade the smart money is still on UW sucking.
In other words, they do until they don't. Last night was great. I'll watch it again tonight.
But we better fucking beat Oregon. -
It might be. We don't really know at this point. The Pac 12 (which sucks!!) doesn't really have a dominant team and everyone is going to beat up on everyone else, especially with SC and whOregon going the mediocre coach route lately. I won't hold my breath for Utah stepping up.
This board would go ballistic if they had lost. We all know that.
Offense still sucks and Mickens needs to stay wit his homies in LA, but the defense looked awesome and defense wins championships. I'm not saying this is anything like a championship team, don't be a twister. -
Of course this board would have went ballistic if we blew a 17-6 lead with 8 minutes left.Fire_Marshall_Bill said:It might be. We don't really know at this point. Praise for wins and criticism for losses. -
Quite honestly I thought they were going toRoadDawg55 said:

Back in 2007, I think a famed ex-Dawgman sage touted Ty Willy's 24-10 victory over Boise State as such.RaceBannon said:Ty never really had a signature win other than Syracuse. He had signature almost wins like USC and the first half of the Oklahoma game. Fucking doogs

yeah probably so. Boise was coming off the Fiesta Bowl I thinkBabsGilbyTawdTy said:

I agree with you there on all parts.
I'm still not a fan of Babushka's but Browning will start hitting those deep throws, hopefully as soon as the Oregon game. Running game also looked more physical and it's more mature with Eldrenkamp back in and Kirkland at RT (though he has plenty of room for improvement).RoadDawg55 said:

Yeah until further notice, this is still a 6 win team. Until the offense gets over the hump, ceiling isn't that great for 2015.RaceBannon said:

OL actually looked good. Kirkland was better than McGary or James have been all year at RT and Eldrenkamp played well at LG. I agree that this game could have been a lot different if Browning hit even a couple of big throws. He missed almost every one.HFNY said:I agree with you there on all parts.

We get it. Everybody sucks. So even the team that wins the Natty this year should have an asterisk beside it because they were the least drecky.TierbsHsotBoobs said:
