You just dont trot out an offensive line with 1 returning starter, the rest freshmen and sophomores, 2 230lb NON-FUCKING BLOCKING, pass-cathing only TE's , an uninstinctive TB, a WR corps without its best player (Ross) and a QB who LITERALLY CANT HIT THE BROADSIDE OF A BARN, and expect to just run it on downfield. Doesnt work that way!! 9 guys will be keying on your tailback and QB. Under center, Lindy would be pummeled every play before he even put the ball in DWash's bread basket. You with me so far?
This team is so far away from a power-running team its silly. You gonna hope Coleman turns into Herchel Walker overnight, Dante Pettis turns into Amari Cooper, 225lb Josh Perkins turns into a 265lb matchup nightmare in Cam Cleeland (best blocking /pass catching TE since Breuner) overnight?

Sankey and Polk both had a reliable QB and WR's /TE. Kinda see the difference between then and now? And both had blockers who started more than a few games.
