USC vs UCLA football recruiting: the battle for LA

So... it's Kim's contention, the players tune Mora in until they sign, then tune him out when they arrive on campus?

@BallSacked, why do you think anyone that doesn't suck off UCLA is jealous? I've read posts from you trashing Oregon, yet anyone who posts anything critical about UCLA is jealous in your mind. Is someone who doesn't believe ASU will ever get to the top jealous? They have had similar levels of success.
UCLA has been consistent in winning 9-10 games each season under Mora. At the same time, they have been inconsistent week to week. They will look great one week, then sloppy the next.
Last season was up and down just like the previous two. Big wins over USC and ASU. Blowout losses to Oregon and Stanford (again). Close wins against dreckfest teams like Cal and Colorado. Maybe one day the talent can be so elite you reach the playoff. I personally doubt it. Mora is a pretty good, but flawed coach capable of leading 2nd tier teams (top 10-20). I think what has been seen so far is how it's going to be.
You are right that I would be happy with 10 wins in either of the next two seasons. I would also be concerned about the week to week inconsistency (aka discipline). -
I think I admitted that there have been issues with game management and schemes. But capping the potential of a program after year 3 with the talent level Ucla is building and the coaching changes they've made I think is FS. Also #fuckyonarratives.
If I do the same in year 3 of Peterson after a 10-3 year...by all means light me up. Quooks have done the same to me on here for my hate of the ducks. It's a message board.

Consistently winning 10 games in LA and competing in the South year in/year out is nothing to scoff at and is worthy of a certain level of praise... But, they also leave the door wide open to criticism. UCLA is like Gonzaga BB to me... OK, you're good but either step it up and win it all or gtfo.

Winning 10 games is no big deal now.sarktastic said:Consistently winning 10 games in LA and competing in the South year in/year out is nothing to scoff at and is worthy of a certain level of praise... Feel free to shit on achievement all you want to but, the fact remains, MOST teams don't win 10 games. Far fewer do it consistently. The fact this needs to be pointed out to you says quite a lot.TierbsHsotBoobs said:

Not really but, he did win 12 games and achieved a #4 ranking and makes $3.5 million coaching football in a safe situation at a major school.TierbsHsotBoobs said:
