He could have changed the game last night. But he didn't. Big time players make big time plays.
Is he the dude who got more money than Sherman? -

He'd be on the bench if he played for Seattle. -

Pre game quote from Sherman regarding Peterson:
"You give up eight touchdowns in a year, it's hard to put you in that discussion [of best corners in the game]," Sherman said of Peterson. "If I gave up that many touchdowns, I think I would be benched on our team. We have a level of accountability and that's what we strive for. You can't give up big plays like that and still play." -
When #15 caught that prayer over Sherman who was in perfect position, Sherman said "my bad" to his team mates.CuntWaffle said:Pre game quote from Sherman regarding Peterson:

Whole article. The comment section is amazing too. Sherman really knows how to get under the skin of opposing fans... It is awesome.
My favorite comment has to be one from an obvious old racist white guy:
"Good thing this fool can play football. If not for that he would be in the corner selling crack and most likely getting killed for being such a punk."
Other good ones:
"Of course people that don't know you will judge you on your actions. What else do you expect. And your actions are a disgrace. And being a Stanford grad doesn't mean squat. I wouldn't wish anyone's child to grow up like this guy. Poor role model."
"It stinks that Sherman is so good because he is so easy to hate. Then you have to go watch him play well and act like a huge douche about it."
"Between Lynch's classless crotch grabbing and moronic post game interview and Sherman always flapping his gums, the Seahawks are easy to hate. How about having some respect for the game that allows you to cash all those fat checks."
This guy seems to care:
"Colin O'Connor
"....he said he cares as much about people's opinions "as the dirt under [my] shoe""
He's lying. He made it very obvious more times than I can count that he cares deeply, and way too much what people think." -
Having respect for the game? Sherman has never done anything to disrespect the game. He'll call people out for sure. But, he has never done anything to demean the game or himself.
That's what football is all about. Shit-talking has been a part of football ever since I can remember. If you can back it up, like Sherman, then more power to you. If you choose to not flap your gums, then good on you mate.
People still have a big problem with the Crabtree stuff after the NFC Championship game. I guess these people have puffy little ginages between their supple thighs. -
People hate Sherman because they want him to faceplant so badly and he never does, it makes the hate grow at an exponential rate.
People who talk shit and don't back it up are just laughed at (like Patrick Peterson) and eventually forgotten. -
Cardinals fans were hilarious last night. Oh yeah, why are you talking shit after picking off a 3rd string QB? Big deal... blah blah blah blah.

When the Seahawks are the last line of defense to keep the Cowboys out of the Super Bowl America will love them.
Also according to a tear jerking story told last night Sherman's mom fed all the gangbangers so they would leave her son alone and he wouldn't be a thug. So he's not a thug -

Just what i'm hearing, the real story was she blew the homies on the block as a bribe to keep Sherman off it.RaceBannon said:When the Seahawks are the last line of defense to keep the Cowboys out of the Super Bowl America will love them.

Not only that but when anyone on our team gets burned the rest of the team is there to pick him up and brush him off. You wanna talk about a TEAM, thats what we have.
The players are always talking about the fans being like a "college atmosphere" but its a result of this team... pete has these guys playing together like a college team full of players who are still trying to make it. How does he do this with a team chock full of stars who have made it?
Why dont people want to recognize that pete is the best at his craft in the game today? Seriously, who is a better coach than pete right now? College or pro? -

Sherman's not a thug.
But even when the Hawks probably repeat, America will still hate them.
Think the Raiders of the 70's and 80's.
That's exactly what they are.
For better or worse. -
Im praying we get to thump the cowboys up in the NFCCG. Seriously, what better way to cement your status as one of the best teams ever than beating San Fran one year and Dallas the very next? Two of the biggest franchises in sports. Obviously wed need to cap it off with anither Super Bowl W (preferably against T Brady) but damn, what mire would we need to do? The bandwagon would be absolutely ridiculousRaceBannon said:When the Seahawks are the last line of defense to keep the Cowboys out of the Super Bowl America will love them.

Once again, Thank you Pete! Thank you for pulling this franchise from the depths irrelevancy and putting it smack dab right on the plate of every home in america. Fuck I dont even have the words -
I wish I could stop hookin it up all over derek johnsons forum but I cant. I just fucking cant

While watching the fourth quarter beat down, I could just see Sark watching this game and saying "That's the type of team USC is going to be!" But he doesn't have a clue about how Carroll goes about doing it.
-
When somebody gets into it with Sherman their career falls apart afterwards. Michael Crabtree was a pretty damn good receiver before he pissed Sherman off. Since Sherman told the world he was mediocre he's been mediocre, at best.
Patrick Peterson was a bit overrated but easily a top 10 corner in the game last year. He gets into a war of words with Sherman this offseason and has sucked ass all year.
Hell, it took a little longer, but even Jim Harbaugh's career's falling apart now.
The lesson: DO. NOT. FUCK. WITH. SHERMAN. -
Ive been enjoying reading other teams forums talking about how the seahawks have peaked, are in their decline and arent going to be able to pay everyone to keep the team together
These guys obviously havent been paying attention. Like, at all. Who do we have that we are worried might be a cap casualty? Marshawn? Who else? Russell will get paid. Wagner will get paid. Who else? Maxwell might be a casualty (and likely a #1 on another team) but who else?
And, if maxwell does walk, are we really worried about who will step in and fill the void? Pete is a DB guy, you cant tell me someone wont be ready to go
Pete has this team buolt exactly how he wants it. A dominate defense that needs to be paid and role players on offense that, ultimately, can be replaced (or signed, based on their percieved mediocrity)
This team has wuite a huge window of opportunity if you ask me. We.really are truly lucky right now. A great coach, a cohesive front office, innovative decision makers, accountability from top to bottom, a massive chip on everyones shoulders and a whole bunch of young angry playmakers. Fuck! -
Jesus christ ive been making some tequila long/didnt read posts here the last couple days. Sorry guys

Good post by some (I imagine) seahawk fan on the cardinals forum burying those who think seattle is screwed by the salary cap
Actually, 2015 cap has Arizona in horrible position, 30th in cap room, they need to shed 11 million just to make the cap. That's goodbye to Fitzgerald, likely. Plus Patterson if they are smart and get a quality Corner in the 3.5 to 7M range.
Seattle, on the other hand, has 32 million in cap room for 2015, 5th in cap space. Even giving Wilson a big $22M contract, it will be back loaded and cap friendly, they will have plenty of room to sign Wagner, and re-sign Marshawn if he doesn't walk away from football. Only Oakland, Jaguars, the Jets, and the Browns have more cap space than Seattle.
