That is an obscene number. Looks like the arms race is heating up once again.

Wow, $1M a year more than Saban. At least until Alabama gives him another raise

    Michigan FS.

I get harbaugh can win. But do you really want to invest in a dude who is going to piss everyone off in three years just to go 11-2 and fuck it up at the end of every year?

I'm waiting for Mora to feign interest in attempt to negotiate a sweeter contract.

I thought he already had a CONTRACT.
Yeah, but I'm hearing that he'd drop everything and go to Michigan if asked.

He turned around the football program at a school that doesn't GAF about football. Pretty sure he's going to leave a pathway littered with the plungered remains of B1G coaches in his wake at Michigan.

Harbaugh would be the best coach in college football if he leaves. Not many guys are able to have his kind of success at both levels.

I would agree, but Urban Meyer is a hell of a coach at Ohio State. It would be great for their rivalry and for college football.

How anyone can call Harbaugh a failure is just pure insanity.

Michigan would be a powerhouse again. Between him and tOSU, the Big10 would be relevant again.

I always wondered what he was capable of at a big time school. I guess we might find out. Stay tuned!

Or not. I don't find Michigan becoming a perennial top 5-10 team again all that interesting.

If Scott Woodward truly is a wizard, then let him figure a way to get Petersen to Michigan and The Douchebag to UW.

Is there any coach in any sport who gets more praise despite never having won a title?

    "He may be a jerk, but he's a WINNER!!!!1111!!!eleven!!!!"

    Uh, no he's not. He's a runner-upper.

Harbaugh is a winner in the same way Mark Few is a winner. If your goal is to have a solid regular season, he's you're guy. If you care about winning championships, he is not. Has he ever won a title at any level as a coach?

People assume that because he irritates people in the front office, he must be awesome!

As long as he is on the sideline in SF, SF will not win a Super Bowl. And he will not win a Rose Bowl if he goes to Michigan (which he is not going to do.)

    Harbaugh won't ANSWER THE QUESTION!!

Do these FS reporters expect him to actually talk about the Michigan offer?

This is so fucking stupid. I don't even know where to begin.

A list of his championships would be a good start.
