CokeGreaterThanPepsi has grown weary of dissecting the final two minutes of last Saturday's game. Let's view this thing from 30,000 feet, he writes in this week's article.

    Slight correction:

Tyrone Willingham does need more time. Just wait until Tyrone Willingham gets his guys in here. 2006 will be special. I’ll go as far as to say that by December of 2008 Tyrone Willingham will have won at least one PAC10 Championship at the University of Washington (go ahead, bookmark this, favorite it, whatever).

"Once things get going we will see a tough team that focuses on every little detail, that works hard and out executes other teams. We saw glimpses of this on Saturday, and I am excited to see that more and more going forward."

I feel like I am being wooshed by 81% of the board based on the reactions to the Arizona game.

    13 penalties for 111
    3 key turnovers
    poor game management

It was a very sloppy performance vs. a VERY AVERAGE Arizona team. I was excited for Coach Pete because I thought basic execution would be a strength for a coach with his reputation. But is was very disappointing to piss away a winnable match up due to poor execution 11 games into the season.

Why isn't anyone telling Coke to LIPO? Cuntwaffle? Damone? Bueller?

Good article. What you are saying is valid. As evident by many other good coaches, it's not that rare to have a shitty first season. I hope you end up being correct. I just don't quite have the same faith you do.

It's becoming increasing clear that Kellen Moore's four year run as QB was the X factor in the best part of the Boise run under Peenerman. With Tharp and Southwick under center, spud state was very ordinary.

So, if you're hoping for anything as a dawg fan, you're hoping Peenerman has another once in a generation QB fall into his lap. One who apparently doesn't require any development to be a four year starter if the other Boise QBs, and the lack of development in UW's this year, are taken as evidence.

The donkey is frantically pushing all of the other buttons already. His shtick is dependent on an NFL quality QB.

Specious argument, Petersen was the OC on the staff that recruited him. Regardless, Pete got a lot out of that spud farmer.

By that logic he owns Tharp's and Southwick's shitstorms too.

Or, sometimes, a program's "franchise QB" makes an ordinary coach look great. After all, isn't that the rap on helfried, that Mariota is "masking" sling blade's presumed incompetence? Shaw's hot start seems to have been courtesy of Andrew Luck.

It isn't farfetched at all that perhaps it was Moore, rather than Petersen, that got the latter his retirement checks from montlake.

What's Gene Chizik doing these days?

Belichek sucks Dick. He's lucky Bledsoe went down and Brady saved his ass.

Jimmy Johnson is arguably the worst coach in history. Without Aikman, Emmit, Irvin, Moose, and co he would have never won a game!

Pete Carroll is garbage!! His USC run was super flukey because he had 3 heisman trophy winners to rely on. Without them and that defense they don't sniff a natty!

It was a very sloppy performance vs. a VERY AVERAGE Arizona team Coaches-ranked #13 Team in the Country. It was very disappointing to lose a winnable match up due to ONE fumble by our Sr. RB when it was already won.

UTSA, Nevada and Cal disapprove of your changes. As does Seven and his Trojan powerhouse.
