As someone who was a sportswriter for years and has written books and been around writers, I can tell you two certainties I've learned along the way. If a writer has an overwrought bio that they obviously composed, they take themselves way too seriously and they do get a sandy twat from the slightest hint of male aggression.
The second one, which doesn't apply to Wilner, is when writers include their middle initial or use initials for their first name, same thing. Overblown ego. Sandy Twat City.
