I agreed with everything except the last two sentences

*16 points on offense. The TD against cheese only happened because of special teams.
-
What the hell do you do?
I am the one who wasn't that surprised by the outcome. UW was only a 10 point favorite. That's similar to a game I remember in Allegiant Stadium couple years ago (that now feels like 10 years). I watched all of UW's games and some Wisconsin and if I had no dog in the fight I would say Dawgs weren't couldn't enough they wouldn't lose a confounding game on the road and Wisconsin wasn't so bad they wouldn't beat someone at home. Throw in injures and there you go.
Even given the OL stuff it's just wild to me how bad UW is at rushing the ball, especially with Demond at QB. One thing is zone reads where it seems like whatever choice is made is always the wrong one and he's only hit on a few QB keeps from them this year.

Yeah, I'm kinda done watching Demond hand the ball off as the DE is diving down the line toward the running back, leaving the edge wide open.
-
It's pretty confounding. It would seem like pure data-driven analytics would suggest he should at least sometimes accidentally make the right call.

Tequila calling into the coaches show
Look at the data coach !!!
-
What is the rule about taking players with him?
-
I think the bigger question on who is hired is what is that individual and his family looking for? The program deserves some loyalty and longevity but those qualities are rare in this world and made even more difficult by political forces.
-
His family hates Seattle. Not much one can do about that. He gone.

Going back to what Joey said about the pressure being gone, I feel better at least today than maybe I should. If Judd stays I do think he has the pieces to have good seasons the next 1-2 years. The stadium will be filled for big games, we don't risky bottoming out a third time in five years and someone probably takes him off our hands but we have more prep and are in a better place than if it happened right now.
Or, he has already taken the UCLA job and we are moving up the inevitable and we nuke early and hopefully hire a coach with a higher ceiling who we also need to get to commit to the program a bit.
On top of getting the right next coach and what they need to already be doing is the AD and entire staff needs to eat, sleep, and shit (on their phones in the can) finding and securing a guy like who props up the basketball program suddenly, selling them on how you can't buy an NFL team right now, but here's owning a football team basically in a massive city, pretty cool, huh?
The top programs right now are basically more and more just buying the best players they can find in the portal to accompany the high school guys they buy.
