Jedd Fisch affirms commitment to Huskies: ‘We love it at Washington’

Soft NFL passing offense. Everyone knows what's coming because they've watched enough film of Fafita and Demond getting killed over and over as they're trying to get off a 30+ yard pass to the #1 receiver.
Sucking even worse in the rain and against the tougher more try hard defenses just further reinforces it.
DeBoer gotta pretty close to those accusations but he had a half to turn it around against Beavlet and did. They changed up the offense and grinded out the win.
UW had iirc almost 4 minutes to put the dagger into these mountainless, cultureless fags (even though their culture is pretty sick) and had a pathetic turnover on downs sequence.

DeGrubb still struggling to run at Bama
Grubb destroyed the Seahawks running game. They still can't find it
Jedd seems more interested in Coleman being a good student than a running back

In retrospect suddenly senioring Jonah in lieu of paying him $1+ that could have been better spent elsewhere was probably the better move.

If Williams had Fautanu and Rosengarten, he would look better. Truthfully every single starter on the 2023 OL is better than the ones we have currently. The WR’s and TE’s in 2023 were much better and the offensive coaching was better.
Buelow and Kalepo are better than Hatchett and a true freshman John Mills. Buelow and Kalepo weren’t great but got paid to portal and start at Ole Miss last year.
Williams isn’t Penix until he wins. Penix had injuries and took time to develop.
-
Penix got away with a ton if deep drops and alow developing plays. The idea that he just got rid of the ball fast couldn't be farther from the truth.
Penix struggled mightily in the few games where he was pressured a lot, Michigan and ASU in 2023 being a couple of good examples.
The current UW OL is a sieve just like last year. Penix wouldn't stand a chance on this team.

See Penix on the Falcons

Well, having Polk and McMillan instead of two true freshmen is a difference as well.
Nobody talks about it because he got hurt but even up to the Natty Jalen McMillan was one of the most unguardable offensive players at UW in fucking forever. Moreso than Ross by a lot.
McMillan had a terrible play in 2021 where he let UCLA field an interception, essentially ending the game, that reminds me of the hate that Roebuck got this weekend. Teachable freshman shit.
-
McMillan gave terrible effort in 2021. New coaches came and he suddenly was everything he was expected to be.
Roebuck is going to be very good. I think Vines-Bright and Lawson will also be good. We still need 1-2 good WR’s from the Portal. TE needs to be upgraded too.

Those are all #2’ or 3’s at best. I don’t see any high end talent at receiver besides Boston on the roster.
-
but didn’t Deboer and Grubb coach that? Looking at Fresno State they did the same thing.
if the receivers can’t get open, then that’s a problem.
