Jedd Fisch affirms commitment to Huskies: ‘We love it at Washington’

Oregon played the entire 2nd half with their 4th string QB. And yes it was a struggle the whole game, regardless.

Penix is a bigger stronger thrower. Part of Demond's limitations is his size, I don't think he sees well over the middle and can't pass over a D line very easily.
-
This does need to be schemed around. I think it’s an area of struggle for Demond. That said, I remember Penix main thing being throwing bombs down the sideline or on deep posts. There were not many short and intermediate throws over the middle.

I can get behind this to a degree but Rome and JMac didn’t look as polished as RVB and Roebuck do as true freshman. They were both better athletes but the kids this year are really playing well for a couple true frosh 3* WR prospects. I think if you’ve got three really good, solid WR you can get away with none of them being elite. See 2023 Michigan for proof.

I guess we're in to the minutia. To me I'm not sure the WRs aren't open as much as Demond isn't trusting his throws or seeing them at all. I think everyone talked about last Saturday one of his off target bombs down field having multiple options for medium gains available for instance

G. Hatchett definitely could be better. At times, he has been the worst OL on the squad. Finau could actually be a decent after a week taking reps with the ones.
I still wonder why Fisch didn't call more plays to DeGraaf and even Moore. Wisconsin's LBs were pretty aggressive on the pass-rush side and both TEs are at least 6'3" so easier for Williams to see (outside of a hobbled 6'4" Boston).

If we are gonna run it like Michigan did and play defense like them you are right. Seems like whatever Jedd’s offense is needs a big bodied number one though.

Jedd's offense needs a better foundation as a prerequisite to talent succeeding.
It's inherently broken, maybe not as badly as say Donavan, but it seems to be in the same vein.
There's more than enough talent to exceed 10 pts against a 2-6 team.

Still convinced that we are running the 2018 Rams playbook designed around 6’6 Jared Goff with a couple of zone reads thrown in.

Jedd’s offense needs an offense
