Jedd Fisch affirms commitment to Huskies: ‘We love it at Washington’

I believe the family is having some unintended consequences of the job. I believe the stuff he is saying on the surface. The timing is bad. This will become really awkward if he doesn’t turn it around somehow. He’s going to have a really hard time getting players to come here now. Too much bullshit with his agent and flirting with other teams cost him a win 99% chance of a win. He Fucked around and Found out

Are you fucking kidding me. Franklin just got fired after he took an average at best slightly above program to within a touchdown Jesus run by Notre Dame to the national championship game, He “can’t win the big one” against a cheating Jim Harbaugh, a loaded 5 star talented Urban Myer team and now Ryan Day teams. Who the fuck cares he beat each one of those teams at the top at some point and time during his career. Who cares he had a top 10 recruiting class coming in. Washington can do much better than James I got fired by PSU Franklin … he can’t recruit to Washington

is this a bit?

The Fisch to UF narrative existed one place ever, with UW fans. Florida never even glanced his direction.

yeah and had all the noise about firing him been out there since 2017 this years PSU team still finishes with 10 wins. The fact they fired him and won’t find a coach better than him is hilarious. If he takes the VaTech job he will be competing for a playoff spot within 2 years there. The proximity to State College alone is a boost to his recruiting
And there’s absolutely no way Washington could hire him so we should stop with the hypotheticals

Nobody is buying the bullshit Judd

Level headed Roadie is the best Roadie. Some of us saw this loss coming from a mile away. I had a little bit of hope when it was not pouring at kick off but was never confident in a win.
So, Jedd blew two inexcusable games last year and one this year (so far). Not the kind of incremental progress that you get excited about. But that freshman talent. . . . . . . . If he won out b4 Oregon losing all of our playmakers (when Jedd left) would have been as devastating as when deBore left and we would have had to find another Jedd to build something (quickly) from the pile of shit that the (second consecutive) insurance salesman left us.
If he can win 3 of the next 4, he is back on track (his, not that of most Husky fans).
And, winning two of the next four assures a better first two years, at UW, than Dong James.
Winning one of four makes his record, for those years, the same as the exalted one.
And, no, he isn't half the iconic coach that DJ was. But, perspective is BADLY needed here.
A little slow, in this world of instant gratification……. but here we are. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
(for the record, something happened in the past couple of weeks to make him say he loves it a Washington and that was definitely the Wiscy loss and any hope of leaving, for greener pastures, after this year has vanished.)

Comparing to Don James is inappropriate when you consider the schedules.
Don James in year one played at ASU (who won 12 games that year and was in a different conference), Texas (with Earl Campbell) and at Alabama (with Bear Bryant) along with USC, UCLA and Cal who actually won the conference. Jedd would have gone 3-8 I'm guessing.
In year 2, they played #3 USC (who finished 11-1) and #2 UCLA (who finished 9-2-1). Somewhat newsworthy, they played Colorado who finished 8-4).

Fuck perspective doog

I agree with this. I don't htink he was actually trying to leave, I think it was just a leverage play to get a raise. After the stink fest from last Saturday, the raise is off the table because his leverage is gone. Might as well get used to the idea that he's going to be here next year.
