How much of a stander are you at games?

In 2021 I sat a few rows behind our bench because some scared Amazon Level 7 bros didn't want to catch Covid. I haven't sat down there since. I'm glad they're giving the AD money but I don't want to be around those people.

There’s so many fucking TV timeouts, what difference does it make?
Take a seat during the Jardian ad. -
I'll stand up for critical defensive series in big games, but otherwise prefer to sit
TLDR - wall too low, seats too shallow cause need for standing
Faggy stadium design thread! I'm an upper decker and yeah, sitting mostly with exception of big plays, need for extra lungs stuff. Its science or something. That said the pitch of the seats in the 100 level is shallow, and though the wall from row 1 to field is higher than it used to be (literally the same level) its not great for sight lines. At the old stadium the first 5-7 rows were always empty with the exception of band day and when the jumbotron became a thing and whores in the student section wanted to see themselves on the screen. The few Seahawk games I attend thanks to a friend is basically the same thing. Row 7 behind the bench. Cool being close, but absolutely shitty sightlines for anything down field. To each their own.

DAWGS!! (Fuck you - I stood for all of CSU and Cal Davis!!)
ON YOUR FEET!!!!1!!
During big games, I expect nothing less, but against warm up teams, sit if you like and stand only when something good happens. When The OSU comes calling, everybody better stand and scream on 3rd downs. Your vocal cords should be toast by the end of game. -

I’ll stand for big games because most people are. I don’t mind either. The past two weeks I sat unless it was third down. When I was young I stood no matter who was playing but I was also in section 8 so the visiting fans could eat my ass if they had a problem.

TV timeouts are bad. I remember against CSU we had one after a TD. Then kicked off then got hit with another and it was like 2 minutes before a quarter break. It does give you time to grab a beer or piss though.
In true sell outs it's actually more comfortable to stand because it's so cramped. I remember in the track and moat days if it was truly packed standing was a must because the lower people couldn't see at all if they didn't.

I do think it's important to go with the flow of your section. In this case the first 20 rows of our section were 80% to 100% standers so we just went with it. Would be fine doing a lot of standing for Ohio State or Oregon, but I'm pushing damn near 50 and sometimes I just want to sit down with my cold Messican beer and watch the game. Plus I'm a judgmental snob and I'd like to make fun the adult jersey wearing, shitty game standing, sports dorks!!

lol a 50 year old wearing a letterman jacket that wasn't for 🏈 with a Pacifico/Coors lite would 100% catch some strays from me if I saw it walking around.

Can't be knocking back 6 x 16 OZ IPA's a game. That's a bad hangover.
I only wear a letterman jacket to the big games typically- e.g., CFP or Oregon. Fellow fans love that school spirit.
