The subject was state taxes, Gasbag. I pay tens of thousands less in state taxes in Washington than I would if, for example, I lived in your right-wing nirvana of Idaho. Washington is a low tax environment for those with high incomes. If you claim otherwise, your argument is with arithmetic. Washington lets the Race Bannons of the world pay a much higher percentage of their incomes in taxes and fees because we won't enact an income tax. That's regressive to people who speak English and know money is fungible.
So what we have here is a Democrat making fun of poor people to argue for a 9 billion dollar tax hike and he wants an income tax and no tax cuts or spending cuts. Why won't the GOP go along guys?
Even in Soviet Washington the voters don't trust the democrats enough to give them an income tax
I was including property taxes, which are governed by state law regardless of who assesses and collects them. How pray tell would the "dodge" you were accusing me of even work? Idaho has a property tax. A sales tax too, for that matter.
So, tens of thousands of dollars in Idaho income tax are offset by the fact I'd pay a $2,000 to $3,000 less in property taxes. Must be the new math, for those old enough to remember that phrase.
If the GOP is concerned about "the little guy", they'd talk about lowering and capping sales taxes, gas taxes, and property taxes as part of the deal. If all they'll insist upon is eliminating the estate and capital gains taxes, I'll let you draw your own conclusions about who they're looking out for.

I know actual rich people in Washington
H is lying. As usual
Loves to tax the poor though. Can't get enough.
Dazzler thinks Amazon pays for all their gas.
They've never mentioned they know you to me.

I like how you dodged by using 'state taxes'.
Because property taxes are levied/collected at the county level.
So, sure.gif
Property taxes were raised again too. Voters were over ruled to save democracy

Here's a house for sale in CDA $850K Address is 3623 W Hillcrest Circle - couple blocks from the CDA Public Course.
Annual property taxes 2023 $3,822. 2024 assessment down 10.2%
House in Spokane currently listed for sale at $850K - adequate neighborhood. 329 N Lower Crossing St
Annual property taxes 2023 $6,251. 2024 assessment up 5.4%.
Now do that over and over again for things like license tabs, hunting and fishing licenses, gas tax, B&O/excise tax on and on.
Bullshit on paying tens of thousands of dollars less in 'state' taxes.
Add on a minimum wage that is massively inflated in Washington over Idaho- you're paying alright. You're paying left and right and up and down.
I already said some taxes would have to go in order to get the votes for an income tax. You're just afraid to engage honestly.
Is it possible you being poor might be related to you being a pussy?

Give me a fucking list
Ready anytime you are Doris

Everyone wants those taxes eliminated
Except democrats
Fuck off. You've defended every tax known to man including all of those. You voted for the faggots that passed them
Hey old fella, pretty sure sales, gas, and property taxes existed before I was born.
Negotiations are over
Cut the other taxes first and we can talk.
You’re not paying “tens of thousands of dollars”. GTFO
