Percy traded?
Again, I'm reporting The JETS have just agreed with Seattle to a trade sending WR Percy Harvin to NY for conditional pick

Crazy. Carroll must be done with Darrell Bevins FS playcalling, had to take away his toy.
That's just crazy. If it's not a high pick, wow. -
No warning; just gone! To the dreckfest Jets of all teams.
-
J-E-T-S! J-E-T-S! JETS! JETS! JETS!
-
He has been a fantasy turd the last month.
-
PERCY was a cancer for sure

I can't wait to see the 12's on Hooks.NET literally go insane. This sucks for Seattle's offense obviously but I'm also excited to read the hooks thread later (what a sad and miserable life I lead).
It won't be more than a 4th or 5th round pick, entirely because of his salary I would think. He's making a shit ton this year and the next few years. The good news is cap space is going to be looking real nice this offseason. The other good news is hopefully Richardson and Norwood actually play now.
The bad news is the receivers are Doug Baldwin, Jermaine Kearse, and whoever the idiot offensive coaches decided to put on the field (probably Walters). Not crisp! -
The only positive is that 12FS are going to shit their pants now.
-
Time to repaint the lifted Tundra....

12s catching themselves on fire? Story at 6

I'll give Schneider some credit here.
He made a bad move acquiring him, now he's willing to cut his losses and admit he was wrong.
Strange timing though -
Doesn't make up for the lost 1st round pick a few years back though
-
Weird trade. Either Percy wasn't getting along with Pete and the front office or it was a preemptive move so that we can still have some cap space so we can re-sign Russell, Wagner, and Wright.dhdawg said:I'll give Schneider some credit here.

Marshawn Lynch will be a Seahawk next year.
That's all the good news I'm getting from this. -
Forgot about that. Good call. If getting rid of Harvin cures Bevell of his mental retardation, I'm all for it. We went 13-3 without Harvin (we still would have destroyed Minnesota in the game he played) last year and beat SF in the playoffs.dnc said:Marshawn Lynch will be a Seahawk next year.

According to schefter he was just a bad fit.RoadDawg55 said:

Oh well, more cap space
And yes lynch will be back next year, which is a very good thing -
hopefully he's bitter enough to air seattle's dirty laundry
-
Really curious what kind of pick they could have gotten from him, any word on the conditions?
-
Does the team make this move if they don't feel Norwood/Richardson are ready to start?
-
Holmgren saying they've tried to trade him for a while now and that he refused to go into the game at times? Better to cut the losses and move on.
-
Percy is not an OKG, allegedly.
-
Requesting someone do a quick 5 reasons on the Rams bored using Harvin as reason #1
-
Percy is a ghey name anyway.
-
Anyone working on the 12s guide to changing the jersey number 11 to anything else other than 11? Asking for a dipshit
-
i'm hearing Russ and Percy *allegedly* had a bad break up. that's just what i'm so stop twisting.
-
Wish they had a do over and can sign tate
-
Did Percy bang Russ' wife?
-
Clayton reporting it's a 4th round base with potential to get to a 2nd if certain unspecified conditions are met.
-
I had this thought but this is the same coaching staff that trotted out Paul McQuistan at LT last year over and over again until he got hurt. Only THEN did they start using Bailey and Bowie who were obviously much better. I'm guessing we'll see white chocolate Walters out there again for more snaps.dhdawg said:Does the team make this move if they don't feel Norwood/Richardson are ready to start?

mcquistan was terrible, but bowie/bailey would have struggled just as bad at LT.SteveInShelton said:

That wasn't by choice though, okung got hurt, this was.
If it's just more Walters that would be awful

It means a lot more Lockette and the rookies will start getting gradually phased in IMO. I don't see this as "the rookies are ready". They wanted Percy gone.
