And after eating it, I promptly knocked out an 18:52 5K on the rower. Like within 10 mins of eating it I started the piece.
So obviously in this prioritization debate of exercise vs other I'm taking exercise over worrying about hyper specific ingredients, but that is not a thing I want to eat frequently for a variety of reasons (the sugar content is crazy high too). And my own cooking is basically olive oil or butter.
Let's use the overweight, city bus drive with T2 as an example here.
Are they obese with diabetes with seed oils as the primary cause, or is because they live a sedentary lifestyle and overconsume 500 to 750 calories per day of convenient, processed (energy dense) food? If other words if McDonalds cooked the fries in beef tallow and the buns were made with olive oil vs canola, is this picture really any different?
I have a hard time believing the active, non overweight person doing some stir fry in sesame oil is dying of seed oils.
The relationship they're seeing between seed oils, your GI tract's inflammation caused by them, and eventually the colon cancer that exhibits the exact same kind of inflammation from seed oils is pretty solid at this point.
It's not just an obesity thing, it's a IBD/colon cancer thing among even slender people.
It’s a death spiral in my opinion. Shitty seed oil laden food makes you lazy and sedentary. You eat more shitty seed oil laden food because you are sedentary and lazy.
The inflammation caused by seed oils causes fatigue/brain fog because of the inflammation itself.
You can be perfectly fit and disciplined and still die from bowel cancer or IBD complications from seed oils. They are finding strong relationships because of the inflammation found in the tumors themselves.
The Dr of the study in which you refer to isn’t even saying you gotta cut out all seed oils. Moderation and balance between omega 3 and 6.

While the question of seed oils is a little more complicated, Yeatman still says that eating seed oils in moderation is healthy. In fact, omega-6s are necessary to keep the body functioning. But he discourages consuming far more seed oils and processed foods containing seed oils than those containing omega-3 fatty acids.
"I'm not demonizing seed oil," Yeatman says. "But when you eat it at breakfast, at lunch, and in your salad dressing at dinner, it adds up and that's the problem."
Well yeah, people consuming seed oil are getting it almost every meal since they don't care what their food was prepared with and check for it.
Looking into this shows just how hard it is to cut it out completely unless you or your wife is dedicated enough to cooking with avacado oil from an anti-inflammation recipe book.
As I said earlier in this thread I cook mostly with EVO, Avocado oil, and butter. But I’m not gonna stress over eating some goldfish or cheezits in moderation.
I think it’s easier for people to get hung up on some dietary change- eg elimination of seed oils vs doing the hard work of staying physically fit over the course of decades.
My advice that you absolutely don't need is to not celebrate the experience by taking your wife and kids out to a brewery/pizza place afterwards while still on the drugs they give you.
You will not be happy or drunk or anything. Alcohol/weed will just keep you feeling sick for another half day or so.

I'm enjoying the weekly seed oil battles between Pawz and Yella.
I’m mostly an olive oil, avocado oil, butter/ghee guysm for cooking, but I enjoy the seed oil battles.

What exactly is that horrific sounding monstrosity of pseudo-food?

Need moar threads on fiber.
Thanks, appreciate it, I had been assuming it was a cause of overweightness/obesity.

If only the cure to not being Charmin soft and lazy was cutting out seed oils.

And the doubly hard work of eating the right amount of calories and the right kind of calories for the fitness level they are at.
rape culture seed oil imo
As someone that is late 30's, 6' 170lb and works out 2-3 times a week, I am cutting out seed oils.
Because I think that you are at major risk of colon cancer in your 40's now and it's in everything, just like sugar.
I’m getting my corn hole scoped in April. Pray for Old Yellar.
Been there, done that. Twice.

No shit ? In the late 30s?. Guidelines these days are 45 and up unless family history merits younger.
