Thought bubble: How should I play this?

Well that was even more stupid than your usual, H.
I take it you didn’t read it. Or worse, you did, and thought that mumbo jumbo was worth posting.

I’m leaning towards this solution.
It is time for the US to withdraw from NATO.
NATO can then welcome Ukraine to keep the War Machine rolling. Liz Cheney, Hunter Biden, and Victoria Nuland relocate to Brussels as grift advisors.
Europe will reset to 1913 and let history repeat itself.

Russia! Russia! Russia!
People forget it was German aggression that started two world wars.
And some shady as fuck US intervention under Wilson and Roosevelt.

You will have to explain this one.

Not my argument, but here’s a close response to your question from the thread. Looking back WW1 was easily the stupidest war of all of them. Nothing other than backing your on paper web of allies was achieved by anyone.

WWII wasn't much better. And wouldn't have happened if Versailles hadn't bent Germany over and fueled the rise of Hitler from a meager corporal in the trenches.
Wilson's fingers were all over that one too.
Led by Senator Borah of Idaho, a devout isolationist also known as “the Great Opposer” for his independent stands on many issues, the Irreconcilables were much blunter in their approach. They wanted nothing to do with the Treaty or the League, period. In a nearly two-hour speech, Borah expressed the group’s staunch support for the “the great policy of ‘no entangling alliances’ upon which the strength of this Republic has been founded for one hundred and fifty years…” In response to the Reservationists efforts to modify the treaty he asked, “where is the reservation which protects us against entangling alliances?”

ww2 there was at least real evil to fight. WW1 was just nothing but a bunch of bumbling idiots fighting because of an insane web of alliances network. All that was needed was for one country to be an adult and break the chain.

I agree that both World Wars were stupid. But in 1914 the US had nothing to do with the outbreak of war and then stalemate between Germany and England and France. Same with Hitler deciding to take Poland.
