Phone app? Which one? I use golf pad but free version only and don't use shot tracking. It seems like a PITA. I'd like to be able to scroll through 18 images like that at the end of a round though.
I have been to two golf tourneys in my life. The second was last June at Sahalee for the LPGA. The first one was in the late 80s Senior Tour. Chi Chi Rodriguez walked ten feet in front of me. That's about all I remember.
Yep. Small fields and some huge percentage of spots are allocated to former tour players as a retirement package. They get to hang on as long as they want and crowd out guys that are legit good.
Get yourself a garmin watch and you can have pretty pictures like this showcasing your golfing exploits. S70 if you're serious. Venu 3 if you want to spend less money. Better than an apple watch and their golf app is really good. Swing a club and watch goes "What did you hit?" walk off the green and it asks you how many putts, what was your score and did ya hit the fairway.
Have done it before but there is serious danger involved and it's a big carry when playing the tips. Not a pic from yesterday but imagine trying to nail that with a 225 yrd carry over the water. This pic was from about 80 out. Mrs. Doogerson and I have a house down in Peoria, AZ - course is Westbrook Village - Lakes. Great neighborhood and 2 good courses. Last holes are epic from the tips.
Hole 17 just before it. Usually plays 185-190 from the tips:
Looks like a rad course. I was just talking shit. I could tell from the original diagram that would have been a long carry over water to get there in 2.

Yes. But the senior tour is the hardest tour to make in the world.

When the senior tour was catching on every 40 year old golfer had a 10 year plan to make it
Even former regular tour winners said it was serious business

I was in my early 20s or so when some of the big stars (Trevino, Watson, Jack) hit the senior tour. I set a 30 year goal to make it.
Nobody asked, but for the record I fell a little short.

176 is a typical drive for me!
Can confirm!
I would be on in two and then three putt.
Let's see how well Jack Nicklaus plays after trying to rinse out a case of food poisoning with an IPA in 100* heat.
*93 degrees, but still.

Shoulda gone for it in 2. Chickenshit. In all seriousness, I hope I can still hit it 300+ when I’m in my mid 50s.
I probably should've read that closer because I missed the number off the tee.
I would be on in three and 4 putt.

You mean “Ch-eye Ch-eye Rot-Truh-Gweez”
Les Nessman burned that into my brain
That's fucking amazing
