54 years old...should I join the tour?
Elevation was not a factor but it was 77 degrees out on Tuesday when I played the hole…

Yes. But the senior tour is the hardest tour to make in the world.

Phone app? Which one? I use golf pad but free version only and don't use shot tracking. It seems like a PITA. I'd like to be able to scroll through 18 images like that at the end of a round though.

When the senior tour was catching on every 40 year old golfer had a 10 year plan to make it
Even former regular tour winners said it was serious business

I have been to two golf tourneys in my life. The second was last June at Sahalee for the LPGA. The first one was in the late 80s Senior Tour. Chi Chi Rodriguez walked ten feet in front of me. That's about all I remember.

I was in my early 20s or so when some of the big stars (Trevino, Watson, Jack) hit the senior tour. I set a 30 year goal to make it.
Nobody asked, but for the record I fell a little short.

Yep. Small fields and some huge percentage of spots are allocated to former tour players as a retirement package. They get to hang on as long as they want and crowd out guys that are legit good.

176 is a typical drive for me!

Can confirm!

I would be on in two and then three putt.

Let's see how well Jack Nicklaus plays after trying to rinse out a case of food poisoning with an IPA in 100* heat.
