The best female singing voice I've ever heard (of any nationality) is from Lee Su-hyun. She is a star, but she has dealt with Bulimia and at times has been very overweight. I don't consider IU to be beautiful, but she is considered the ideal in Korea. If Lee Su-hyun looked like IU, she would be an international mega star.
