Shocking that greed will slowly continue to erode college football. The first round in year one of the playoffs was subpar because 12 teams weren’t capable of winning the championship. Now let’s expand the government playoff to 14-16 games.
Right now there are maybe 4 teams that have the talent to win it, we saw that this season, however, with big $ at play, will the talent pool get watered down and/or will other teams emerge with big donor/booster money to be competitive?
Who knows, in a few years, CFB might be a better, moar competitive sport
More teams had enough talent to win the title than people think, it was just nobody had that talent developed and playing together for 3-5+ seasons on the same team.
I would prefer a 16 team playoff. 8 is better than 4. #8, just won the NC → playoffs work. Get rid of the B1G and SEC Championship games.
I don't want the big spending teams to win it every year - consisting of:
Texas Bama LSU Ohio State Michigan Notre Dame (eventually USC) - that's boring to me.
UW can't compete consistently at this level yet.
Seattle will become the 5th biggest city in a few decades, then UW will likely be included on that above list.

I prefer the days of dominant teams, not watered down shit where a 9-3 team wins a natty.
