There are some great albums from 1996- e.g., Wilco's "Being There" is my person fav from that year.
But in terms of riffs, it's kind of meh.
@ukdawg I can't think of any poll worthy riffs off Pinkerton even though that's a terrific LP. The Blue Album is loaded with riffs on the other hand.
