First off, I have served my 30-day tenure as AtomicPiss and have returned to DJ. I like to call myself DJ.
As previously noted in an OFFICIAL Executive Order, the Duck Refuge will cease to exist on Feb 16th. As stated, I am very disappointed over this because I had hopes of it becoming a "mini-me" to the main board. All of the posts from the Refuge will be merged with the College Football board on this site.
Alas, if we're going to add a new board for 2025, something had to go because there would be too many boards. So we bid farewell to the Refuge.
A couple months ago, @RaceBannon and I struck a 3-year, $300 million dollar deal for him to run a golf bored. It will debut on Feb 16. Race is calling it "The Caddyshack", though it just occurred to me that "Hardcore Caddyshack" might be better. It's up to him. The bored will chronicle the ongoing saga of LIV, Scottie Scheffler, Rory Mcllroy, Bryson DeChambeau, occasional golf tutorials from Tom Saguto, a thread dedicated to Yoon Ina's rookie season in the LPGA (in the USA she'll be known as Ina Yoon), and whatever else Race has in store to foster hawt golf talk on his new board.
Additionally, there will be a new policy for the annual August fundraiser. Any poster who has accumulated at least 5,000 posts will be required to pay the Standard Supporter fee of $34 a year in order to post. (That's $2.83 a month to support the site). If they choose not to donate their accounts will still exist and they'll be able to read the boards and upvote/downvote to their heart's content. But they'll need to support the site in order to post.
Finally, I can OFFICIALLY confirm that my urine is not currently glowing in the dark. @SweatpantsGeneral

I'm hearing that it won't be 300 million due to USAID funding cuts
Looking forward to some hot golf talk before pro golf goes the way of tennis and college football. If they get the best playing together more often the game could be stronger than ever
Hopefully they won't etch END RACISM at the back of the greens at Augusta.
Racism is celebrated at Augusta
50 years ago this year Lee Elder became the first Black man to play there
Still up to Race what it's called but I just created this on Grok
You can put the Hardcore in it
Needs boobs or cleavage
Check the facts, tennis attendance is at all time highs. TV ratings, I have no idea but the Australian Open just set the all-time attendance record for its 15 days of competition.
If your point is those sports are trying to squeeze every last dollar out of fans, then yeah, but we need to add a bunch more to the list.
No I'm talking TV ratings which are based on what I watch
Attendance is great at golf tournaments too
Tennis was a major sport and seems niche now
Both golf and tennis need American super stars to really excel
Maybe boxing is a better comp if golf remains splintered. 35 world championship bodies killed boxing
More to come at the Shack for only 10.95
@creepycoug I want your answer and the money by noon Aug 31, 2025. And one more thing. Don't you contact me again, ever. From now on, you deal with @DerekJohnson.
I will not be muted!!
Are we going to dissect my 85 score back in September at Willows Run?
You don't have to be. But "My Offer is Nothing" is on the way out, chief.
Nine of the toughest holes one can ever play

A philosopher king won’t be able to sit idle with no posting privileges. Cook it.
He was born in Gori, Georgia in the @Cockusas which is basically the anoose-hole of the word. Not too far from small village where @PurpleBaze was born.
When I was stationed in Germany, I worked a regional desk for various countries. I peaked when my region consisted of Belarus-Ukraine-Moldova and the @cockusas which I liked to refer to as the Bum and the Cock.
Looking forward to making contributions to this new bored, I have always had hot takes in the world of golf.
