Ryan Grubb returns to Washington Huskies

I’m in the camp where Fishdicks had better be on the phone with Grubb asking if he might like to take a year off. Be an analyst at UW, talk ball and scheme with Jedd and his staff. Stay in his house, with his wife and their young child. Relax, don’t move on right away, hit the reset button and work a 9 to 5 for a year. No pressure. Help us? set some offensive records next year and then you’ll be in high demand with your pick of jobs. If microfiche has not had that phone call with Grubhub then he’s an idiot. I’d think it would be an easy sell.

For the little bit I watched the Seahawks, his playcalling was very similar to his tenure at UW. Some of his calls in the passing game were creative and overall solid, but the lack of emphasis on the running game was disturbing. When Grubb calls great games, the run sets up the pass. He is in love with the 30yrd fades and shit that become a lot of 2nd and 3rd and longs.
If he wanted to stay in Seattle I would absolutely find a way to get him involved -
The weird thing is, the Shehawks have retained worse coordinators in the past ten years, sometimes for years. Bevell and Clint Hurt or whatever come to mind. Grubb might have been a bit of a problem in ways, but he can't stop Geno from making dumb plays in the red zone, or suddenly improve the offensive line.

I'll save you some breath. He has not. He will not.

Methinks Grubb got bailed out by Penix and the WRs a lot on third and longs when he got them into holes but the talent there was just too hard for any college defense other then 2023 Michigan or apparently whittle Kwenny Dwillingham's.

A 6'1" man is a "plucky little guy"?

The Tedford route

That’s just football speak for something between 5’9” and 6’.

Haha I thought that might draw your ire
Is he really 6'1"? That surprises me if true. I watched him get severely rag dolled in the games I watched while Deboer was still there. He was brave and tough and threw great balls, but he looked tiny to me.
Mute point irregardless. The point was that Grubb had success with him because he's good. Grubb needs a good QB and receivers or his aggressive tendencies backfire more often than not.
