look back at network content. it’s borderline for retarded people.
cable made them work. streaming is making cable make a move.
up to them.
I was paying $300 / mo for internet and shitty cable channels … no movie channels. I watched content on their schedule.
I’m paying $80 something for YouTube tv, call it maybe $80 for several other content services (Netflix, Prime, Paramount, MGM etc) amd I have more options than I did walking through a Blockbuster. And I watch what I want on my time.
No brainer. Adapt or die. Cable seems to be dying as a content provider. ISP is their future for now.
Not cable, but I’m convinced everything on CBS is actually for retarded people. Like they have consultants who say “we need another Chuck Lorre sitcom for our mentally handicapped population but we want to add a semi famous person or poorly written sex jokes so that dumbfuck NFL fans in Appalachia won’t change the channel after the game”.
I'm considering a trial of YouTubeTV, then cancelling. I don't watch enough TV to justify $83/mo. I get the networks via local TV so it's annoying that NY6 bowls are subscription only.
I miss the days of being able to "buy" individual events/games.
and when it reaches a certain point, as I’m sure it will, someone will come along and do to them what they’ve done to cable. as long as we don’t get stupid and in essence preserve monopoly by regulation.
It's alright. It's better than Cocks (or most/all cable) in that it's much easier to pause and store things, but it's basically just all the cable channels I used to have. I "haggled" with them to keep the same $72 rate…seems to work with most of them, except for Cocks, which Bill dumped in August.

uh is the Boise coach related to Dabo by any chance? His shout outs to Jesus are becoming legendary…
cable has itself to blame.
competition is a wonderful thing.

YouTubeTV is the shit.
If truck racing is the pregame for the Super Bowl then count me in.

CBS has never been cool except for maybe MASH. Old people’s network. Always has been. 60 Minutes followed by Murder….She Wrote (Pat Summerall voice)
CBS only does one thing right - sports. A tradition like no other.
ESPN is on DTV wireless so I don't have to have the ESPN app
My guess is that in a few years the apps will be exclusive

It's good. Doubled the price in just a few years, though.

This is how I roll. Well, this and my rascal.
I don’t know that I’ve watched anything other than football on live TV at home since August.
Chinned for rascal reference.
