UCLA had Garbers at QB and horrible personnel in general, so I'm not sure that is a big indictment against him. One year at WARSHINGTON commies and then couch sale seems odd after his stint with the Chiefs. But, Reid runs the show in KC I suppose.
something happened here. the world was pumping this guy for an NFL HC coaching job over 10 years ago. the trajectory he was on would put him on his second NFL hc gig by now.
somebody has pictures of him.
He’s an interesting name as an analyst. Tedford had a positive impact when he was here, maybe Eric can too. Hopefully he can at least point out some of Jeff’s retarded play calls. If not, whatever. He’s just an analyst.
He picked the absolutely wrong situation to try to prove himself (Ron Rivera Commanders with no talent on the team trying to escape the hell of Dan Snyder) separately from Andy Reid. His thinking, I think, was that Rivera wouldn't coach much longer and he'd take over after fixing the offense. He was named assistant head coach. Rivera had supposedly been fixing the culture and slowly building the team into competence and it was coming off an 8-8-1 season (aka the Redskins special, never good enough to matter, never bad enough to get difference making players).
His QB was Sam Howell. Couldn't try Jacoby Brisset because the org wanted to give Howell a full season to see if he had anything. Complete meh everywhere and of course that led to thankfully being bad enough to get the #2 pick. The new regime got rid of all prior first round picks. Ironically the D Coordinator was Jack Del Rio.
So I didn't think he totally sucked, but then UCLA happened and Kansas City kept rolling without him.
I spoke to him once and he didn't come across as any kind of bright offensive mind, not at all like having a convo with someone like Jay Gruden where it is clear the dude knows how to scheme an offense and use different skill sets effectively.

That's an interesting career path.

All in all, meh
can he coach run defense ?
Cue Chris Berman's "Sleeping With Bienemy" moniker.
I was hoping for Andy Reid
Did he have a sex scandal or something? What happened to him? It seems like 3-4 years ago he was mentioned for every NFL head coaching job.
He kinda looks like Mel Tucker’s slightly uglier twin…🤔🤔
When he was at KC Reid got the credit. So he left and has been underwhelming at other stops
He was a wild Buff at CU but I don't recall any trouble as a coach
The fact he’s never been a head coach when he was advertised for so many years as “the next great OC” to get a head gig is telling.
Clearly, he rode Reid’s coattails. I’m sure he’s probably a good coach, but he’s almost entered retread territory.

He ran for 143 in 1990 when #hisbuffs beat No. 12 UW, 20-14
According to Jason Whitlock it was one of those DEI situations gone awry
Why are you sure he's a good coach?
I also threw in a probably
But I don’t think Reid would have kept him so long if he sucked

I figured it would be Andy Reid's son
One of? More like just another.
TITTT
It's because he's a redass cunt and everyone hates his guts.

Wouldn't shock me if he is done in the NFL.
