My (then) 14-year-old son took this with his phone in Hamburg a couple years ago. We won Snake Pit tix at the T-Shirt shop that morning. They finished with Sandman that night. I did think I never wanted to hear that song again, but I was wrong.

My level of RHCP appreciation my teenage years is embarrassing I'll still stand up for Frusciante's playing though. Testament here in my opinion is a massive radio/MTV/timeless hit where the first 30 seconds are straight up guitar. Sweet Child O Mine is similar. Imagine something like that now? We paved paradise and put up a porking lot.

My roommate bought Blood Sugar Sex Magic and seemed to play it on repeat for months on end. I still like a few songs from it to this day, Righteous and the Wicked being my favorite.
I hate that song Under the Bridge with a passion though. Soft, overplayed RHCP = worst RHCP IMO.
