It has never been better to replace a secular dictator with mullahs and ISIS and the like. A lot of the "repression" you hear about is repressing jihadi ISIS types. They did the same thing to the Shah of Iran. You would think the CIA would get a fucking clue someday
Saudis are hoping to get involved. Turks already are and Iran doesn’t want to lose its influence and highway to Lebanon. This becomes Yemen rather quickly.
Are they, though? I’d like to know why, but either way, it’s none of our business until it really does become our business.
Let these 3rd-world religious freaks fight with each other while we in the USA repair our own problems and start to prosper again. Klaus Schwab in US isolation custody would be a great start.
H’s latest idiotic post aside, if the new government has legitimate elections, this could be a good coup. Since H is wrong on everything, that won’t happen.
The Democrats/Biden are already guaranteeing US aid to build the government, though, so I fully expect yet another Islamist dictatorship funded in large part by the US taxpayers.
Iraq is now better off without Saddam. It wasn't with Obungle in there allowing ISIS to go on a rampage. But now it is.
Syria was similar. Got rid of the guy that uses chemical weapons on protesters, without the US military needing to invade. It was a grass roots movement.
The Sunni militia (HTS) is saying peace for minority groups. They seem to be evolving, and not just in combat. They wiped the floor with the SAA
It only took +1m dead Iraqis for things to get better (allegedly). Ghengis Khan was a net positive to the world because he opened the trade routes too right?
I think i had Russia not being able to prop up its proxies as a result of being stuck in Ukraine 2 years ago. No way am I sifting through the ukr thread though.

Was Assad-led Syria exporting terrorists around the globe?
why do you assume that?

Unless they want jihadi ISIS types to win….
Obama did
I’m sure all those millions of Syrians that fled into Europe will be headed home now right?
Did we win yet?
Who were we playing? Was it on TV?

Still better than Assad

Biden called it a once in a lifetime opportunity. Sounds like he got what he wanted. That should give anyone pause.
Can't justify a global police state without a few terrorists after all.
As authoritarian babes go, Asma Assad is underrated imo.
Fuck off
Goes without saying
