Once Fisch delivers on the promised land of 9-3 in 2026 and LEAVES to replace the moribund Napier at UF, the upper Midwest Savior (shades of The Dutchman) arrives, makes the playoffs in Year 2…and subsequently is hired at Bama' to replace DeBoer.

Who?
I think the BSU coach and ASU coach would be the top 2. They both have much deeper recruiting ties to the West than the new Fresno State coach (which hurt DeBoer, particularly his 2022 class).
Dillingham hates us. Danielson is too outwardly religious to work at UW.

I think both Dilly and his wife were born there, and they are both alums. They will pay him and he'll borrow the Lanning "this will be my last job" line.
