“We’re going to continue to get bigger. That is the Big Ten, right?” Fisch said. “The conference is different, and the transition between the Pac-12 and the Big Ten is a huge transition. This team had been recruited (as) a Pac-12 team, and as we continue to go eastward and play these games … there’s a substantial difference there in size.”
“Do I know if we can go on the road next year and beat this team in one offseason? I don’t know that,” Fisch said. “I know that when we go on the road next year, whomever we play, we’re going to be a lot better than we were this year.

"We're very young. And small."
"Wait until I get my guysm in"
"You can't expect to compete in the B1G in year 1. You just can't"
"Need more tim"
Midgets. Staff true?
what a bitch. They aren’t small, they suck because of shitty portal recruiting and shitty coaching.
His inability to call a spade a spade has already worn thin on me.
He's a shitty play caller who insists on calling shitty plays as his fucking team is unprepared and getting run over
But think of all the money UW saved
All the excuses he jams into these scant few sentences is alarming…
“We’re going to continue to get bigger. That is the Big Ten, right?” Fisch said (We're not prepared to compete). “The conference is different, and the transition between the Pac-12 and the Big Ten is a huge transition. (This feels overwhelming). This team had been recruited (as) a Pac-12 team (Don't blame me for the players we have), and as we continue to go eastward and play these games (You can't expect us to compete with the time zone differences)… there’s a substantial difference there in size.”
“Do I know if we can go on the road next year and beat this team in one offseason? I don’t know that,” Fisch said.(Why on earth should Jonah Coleman come back when the head coach doesn't believe his team will be able to compete?) “I know that when we go on the road next year, whomever we play, we’re going to be a lot better than we were this year. (This sounds like something Bob Gregory would say).
fuck this
I don't care for his post-game quotes as he should generally speak about building things up rather than what he inherited (or didn't since only two starters returned). Sure it would have been great to have Kalepo (Ole Miss), Braisford (Alabama), Buelow (Ole Miss), and Geiran Hatchett (Oklahoma, injured for the season early in 2024) against Penn State but he should focus on saying that the young OL are getting valuable reps during trials by fire.
All we can hope for is that he stacks a few good recruiting classes and does well enough to get hired away by an NFL team. If I'm Pat Chun, Kenny Dillingham and Spencer Danielson are at the top of my list of coaches.
I just hate he’s using the BIG narrative like that’s the problem. It isn’t. It’s what you just said and being decimated in January. Ducks aren’t having any problems. We wouldn’t have either if we didn’t get wrecked in the offseason.
Absolutely and if anything, he should use that narrative privately when recruiting OL and DL rather than in public. "Hey Stump Van Nostrum, we need your size and strength because we want to get more physical and nasty to beat the most physical teams in the B1G. So come to UW, redshirt and then compete for a starting job as a RS-Frosh."
Time for Ruperake or Peters to come do some off field training
Should someone let him know they have at least one more game away from Husky stadium THIS year?!?
"i'm milquetoast."
fuck you fisch. Oregon sure is having a difficult time adjusting to the new conference, aren’t they?
The truth hurts
why the hell would an NFL team be interested in him?
fuck fisch and his poor-us bullshit. Is being a limp-wristed pussy crying to the media going to improve the team’s outlook?
Fuck this program. Just pull the god damn plug.
ups and downs not being handled
Last time UW didn't score a TD in a game: 2012, a 3-41 loss @ LSU. Sark 2.0 confirmed.
I'd be happy to go from Sark 2.0 to Petersen 2.0.
