Once upon a time some dems realized that being bat shit crazy didn't play with middle America. After the Newt Gingrich led wipeout of the dems in 1994 some dems formed the Blue Dog coalition to move to the actual center. Bill Clinton went from trying to nationalize health care to signing a welfare reform bill. But this is now and not 30 years ago. There isn't one significant democrat that is trying to moderate their views on the border or climate change or increasing taxes and increased "social" spending. Any "study" will focus on unimportant minutia like pretending that a dem could go toe to toe with Rogan for three hours. Spending 3 and a half years pretending that the dementia patient was actually the president and sharp as a tack and then replace him with Headboard will never be seriously dealt with.
Trump should have done all of these in 2020. He did Carolla’s show in (I think) around Sept. or Oct. of 2016 and it was a big deal. It was only about 15-20 minutes but it spiked his ratings. I wasn’t going to even vote in 2016. He honestly sold me with positivity. Trump doesn’t move the needle. Trump IS the needle.
What I learned most from the podcast interviews is that someday, JD Vance is going to be President of the USA.
The guy gets it and he’s brilliant on so many topics. The Rogan interview was unlike any I’ve seen from a national politician. None even close to it and it was totally unscripted.
Agree. Mrs. Swaye has the Matt Walsh podcast on EVERY single morning getting ready for work. Started about 18 months ago. Never listened to a podcast before then. Drive home? Shapiro or more Walsh. Podcasts have completely taken over. Legacy media is dead. I do not know anyone who still watches the news. Maybe some 70 year olds somewhere and I guess it is on in airport lounges.

This campaign will be studied for years

Barron was only 14 then and wasn't advising his dad on what was cool.
Pods in 2020 weren't the same as they are now. Personally, back then I might have listened to one per week. Now I'm doing 2, 3 or 4 every day.
Carolla famously called Bruce Jenner becoming a woman and Trump becoming president in like 2003 or something. Might have even been the same show.
Only Carolla’s scoreboard exceeds the Tug’s.

Vance is totally in command of facts and arguments and smooth as silk all while being conversational as hell. He has a bright future.
Pat Chun just needs to make Vance say "no"
