He clanked it for sure, and it happens, but Volpe scudding that 6-5 throw, and Cole not getting over on Mookie…that shit made my blood boil, and I was with the Doyers.
Yeah, I mean it would have been cool for LA to win it in Chavez Ravine. But you gotta clinch the Series when you can and not screw around.
Shohei was a nothing burger in this series which is a bummer. Who knows how bad his shoulder was hurting.
Mostly this post was a celebration of my love of Randy Newman and this song. I think "I Love LA" is the finest city tribute song of the rock/pop music era.
Randy Newman sounds dopey when he sings, but he has written a ton of hits and probably created half of Disney's library over the past 40 years. Whenever I watch Monk I make sure to mute or skip the intro so I don't have to hear him, though. I do a great Randy Newman impersonation.

Aaron Judge should be banned from Cooperstown
FIVE unearned runs…fundies still matter, no matter how much ability or coin you’ve got…

It's a shame the series couldn't go six or seven
Shohei has his ring now, though
He could have been Mariner. He really blew it

The bluest skies you’ve ever seen are in Seattle.
Only @RaceBannon is old enough to get the reference.
I saw that dude sing that song in Husky Stadium.
Also, the best song about Seattle is a Waylon Jennings track.
Technically, New York New York was released in 1977 but
We’ll let your have your moment.gif
He was affected for sure. You could see him flinch on every swing and miss. I'm sure it was in his head.
Not a man among us is a bigger aficionado of Frank than me. But I Love LA is a better song.
Also, Randy is a songwriter and Frank was not.

My wheelhouse for Randy is 1970 to 1983 so not the Pixar part of the career.
He was a brilliant lyricist, but I can't imagine an artist I would recommend less to you based on the Bleached Anus wheelhouse.
Bleached Anus Wheelhouse would make a great name for an alternative band
I watched portions of the series because Yankees Dodgers
Caught some big moments just checking in
LA clearly better
I secretly rooted for the Padres in the Divisional Series because San Diego needs to win something.
But The Dodgers were always my favorite MLB team as a kid.
i just hope his gambling fall guy gets a ring or at least his dodgers ws futures ticket cashed, or both.
