Special teams went from 0 to 2 but that's the only "improvement" I can think of. Maybe interior run D? I'm not sure if you can even say less penalties is an improvement cause it's just an artificially low bar
I was pretty confident this team would play a lot better as the season went on, it’s been the opposite. Not sure if the o line is more to blame or the coaches but that seems like the two glaring weaknesses. I’m still not all out on Fisch (might be cognitive dissonance based in the reality we are stuck with him for at least three years), but it’s looking really fucking bad. He could just be a way more ambitious version of willingham.
the only thing that points to the team slightly improving is the less penalties but that’s also easier when you’re not in tight and emotional games so I’m not even going to give that. Considering what we know of opponents at this point it feels like the outcomes suggest UW has kind of played the same all year. If they get average kicking from Gross they beat Rutgers who they should have, get a more comfortable win over Michigan. At least taking Indiana to the wire with the backup QB and losing much closer to Iowa was there for an improved team.

Honest question: what has improved?
View from outside hasn't shown any obvious adjustments or improvements.
Especially play calling. WTF?
Thanks Taft!
Fisch said we need to divorce the outcome and marry the process. You know, things that losers say.
I don’t remember a major drive killing or extending personal foul yesterday. Maybe just bad officiating?
That certainly improved

Shouldn't he have focused on improvement before the loss?
