I seem to recall the Trump Administration sending Mike Pence to Washington to address issues with covid. Days later Inslee attacked Trump for "not following the science." Science which many here and other places recognized pretty quickly as very subjective, with an objective to hurt the Trump presidency.
Empress Inslee's mandates and 'emergency powers' have had lasting negative impacts.

It has been shown that the areas where goat corpses melt in fiery woodland infernos eventually sprout trees with more canopy growth than average for the area. Fertilizer and whatnot. It's like mama's (goat) milk for trees. Burning goat corpses is a healthy ecosystem practice. We should support all measures in favor. Plus they clear the underbrush. You can just throw them out there and it's a win win. That's what's great about goats.
We have ivy AND a vine called Kudzu which can grow up to 6 feet in a day and was brought here by the Chinese some centuries ago for some reason. Its now all over the South. A friend bought 100 acres in the middle of nowhere and planted a pulp pine forest (harvested every 10-18 years for pulp). Kudzu took over a good portion of it. He brought in the goats. Gone in two weeks. They stink to high hell and shit everywhere which evidently fertilizes the trees, but those damn things are effective and they eat everything in site. My friend lives in Tallahassee and doesn't see his property here in South GA but maybe once a year. I drive by for him occasionally and take a few photos. The before and after goat photos were incredible.
Wife and I were walking in our neighborhood last year and ran across a temporary fence with caution signs on it. It was electric- because goats were on the other side choking down Kudzu like they were imitating Kamala just getting started in politics.
Shit was gone in two days and so were the goats.
My brother had a summer job with the DNR to fight fires when he was in college. Lot of guys did. Clearing dead fuel and setting lines when a fire did break. There simply were not the amount of fires we have today with the let it grow and burn philosophy that took over
