Interestingly, enough my wife’s family(4th generation Mexican American) has three separate properties in Del Rio Texas of all places. I think the total is around 500 doors. All government contracts with the US border patrol.
so naturally the issue of immigration comes up whenever we head down to Fort Worth And spend time with them. One thing that I found interesting was that the majority of BP officers are Mexican-American, and the most ardent supporters of strict immigration policy.
I realize this is anecdotal, but the notion that a tight immigration policy is racist in nature towards Latinos is somehow lost on the thousands of Mexican-Americans, whom are charged with executing those policies as a means of supporting their families.
From my standpoint, once you clear the appropriate paths of immigration into citizenship, you become an American. You are afforded all of the benefits of citizenship to this country, and you should have a vested interest in protecting the sovereignty of her borders. Otherwise, you are only serving to debase and the very citizenship that you worked so hard to attain, and it is validating to see that philosophy supported and Championed by citizens of the United States, who immigrated here legally, even if it is sneered at and ridiculed by white women in their 20s and 30s who were merely born here into a life of privilege and comfort.
TLDR: Legal citizens whom immigrated here under prior statutes love America as much and in many cases more than those who happened to be born here. Don’t believe me? Talk to a Latino man in his 50s who lives with his family in Texas or Arizona vs a single white woman in her 20s living in Seattle or Boston hoping that the government forgives her student loans.
Seems like a violation of the 14th Amendment and the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to hire based on sex or race. More good publicity for Oregon. Managing the state's forests isn't as important as DEI hiring of incompetents. You will never guess what the complainant looks like. Definitely no signs of mental instability.
Top Oregon official put on leave for allegedly prioritizing ‘qualified’ job candidates over ‘gender identity’

A diversity, equity and inclusion expert had her former boss placed on administrative leave for reportedly prioritizing merit over personal identity when hiring new employees, according to a report.
Megan Donecker, who formerly served as the Oregon Department of Forestry’s DEI strategy officer, complained about the agency’s management, criticizing her boss Mike Shaw for looking “beyond gender and identity in hiring, seeking only candidates most qualified for the job,” OregonLive reported.
Shaw served as the agency’s second-in-command under State Forester Cal Mukumoto until he was placed on administrative leave on Aug. 6 after Donecker filed a formal complaint against him, the Daily Mail reported.
Donecker reportedly first took issue with Shaw when he advocated for a careful approach to DEI, comparing rapid changes to speeding on “an icy road.”
She claimed that Shaw, using this metaphor, warned, “We don’t go 60 (mph) out of the gate, or we’re gonna crash the car.”

Most of the new illegals are coming from South and Central America, Haiti, Africa, Middle East and Asia. All through the southern border paying the cartels for navigation rights. Not really a Mexican illegal immigration issue as such.

Sometimes common sense is just that.

Really not that hard to believe when you understand what folks were actually escaping. Why would they be in favor of importing it?

We already had 40 million Mexican illegals here. Do they have any left that want to come?
