In preparation for Saturday’s early game at Iowa, Fisch said the team will practice at 9 a.m. in Seattle on Thursday, fly to Iowa that afternoon, then conduct a Friday morning walk-through at 9 a.m. PT (11 a.m. CT).
Chintriguing, this is how it should be done, but all the flights to Cedar Rapids show as leaving on Friday. Hope they changed their charter schedule!
Best ability is availability and Durfee doesn’t seem to have that ability. First he fucked up his elbow. Now it’s his toe. For a guy who has played as few live snaps in his life as this kid he really needed the first half of this year to acclimate to D1 college football. Right about now, If he’d been able to play all year, you’d think he would be hitting his stride in terms of turning coaching and development into production. He was insinuating in fall camp that if he could pop he was thinking of going pro. Looks like we may get another year to see if Mr. Glass can put it all together or if he is just another Doog legend. He could join Mike Lustyk, Donny Mateaki and Travelle Dixon in the HOF. Better yet he could transfer to a rival and become an All American. That too seems on brand.
I remember a guy going into the season thinking the defensive line could be sneaky good. Losing the Parkers (namely Jayvon) blows and having Durfee limited really sucks too but there's a lot of good bodies there even if there's no stars. They seem to do a lot of personnel and look shuffling based on down and distance and it's worked so far this year.

The travel agent doesn't understand the emotions on the tarmac
why would they not practice all week at 9am? They aren’t here to play school. One and a half days will not make them adjusted.
Agreed. But it is hard.
Only after UW medical refuses to clear him to play on his turf toe.
Durfee has popped in between injuries
Yeah, and he was on the field in the 4th quarter against Michigan.
He is good but very limited in snap count now.
Its a good thing our d line looks...solid? Jacob Lane of all people had a tfl on 3rd and short

Baby Bellichek is getting paid next year by someone. Probably not UW's cheap ass but still
We need to pay him what we were paying Grubb to have a chance, if not more.
Grubb was a top 3 coordinator in CFB for pay at 2 million if I recall correctly.
UW should seriously grow some balls and pay him 3 million since it comes with Bill.
The biggest threat I see is an NFL team scooping him up as DC.
the fucking bill can come with a mill in NIL dollars if they do shit correctly. Worth paying JR.
Probably getting paid by whichever NFL team hires his dad. If the NFL doesn't come calling I could see UW stepping up though.
