DAWGS
Thanks Taft!
BECKY FUCKING LONDON!!!!
Woolley's connection echoes too much.
On my end I didn't hear any echo. In any event, we're going back to Riverside next week.
Okay, I'm hearing it on replay right now. Sorry about that.
No prob. I'm not whining; just letting you know.
Feedback is very important
I gave you feedback on the feedback.
Jaydong Mickens hot takes… LOL
Not "Planes, Trains & Automobiles" … It was "Volunteers".
Mario Bailey was/is head of DEI for the Seahawks.
Forgot about that
Keep planes, trains, and automobiles out of your fucking mouth!
Like a hand to a glove
Yikes… you'd think I had kidnapped the Lindbergh baby
Michigan fans on YouTube have abandoned all hope last night and today.
Michigan supposedly has 4 guys who could go in the 1st round of the NFL draft, and UW made all of them look bad at times.
Stack 8 in the box and UW can stop Iowa's RB Kaleb. Feast or famine D will work in this one. 22 offensive points should win the game. Iowa is the 2nd easiest team left on the schedule, so UW has to win this one.
Demond's misdirection runs will screw up Iowa's D. He should definitely get 7-10 snaps.
Good pod this week 🍺
You know, with Mario Bailey, the more I learn about the guy, the more I don’t care for him.
I was shocked they didn't have Will Johnson on Boston until the second half. I kept seeing them not line him up on him when Boston was really cooking and didn't understand it and it wasn't from UW putting him in motion and stuff. Moore turning around and pumping up the crowd is just serious bush league weird crap.
Graham and Grant had their moments but the UW OL really held their own in key moments and the game plan and scheme was light years better than it was in Houston.
Didn't see much out of their tight end up but in run blocking they did a great job of not letting plays get outside a lot so he could hold the way he did in Houston.
Iowa to me really seems like less talented Michigan or slightly more talented Rutgers. Road game at 9am PT could fuck things up but should be able to get a win.
Getting ahead of these ground and pound teams early is huge so they can't just get by on 3 yard runs and punts.
I thought @vadawg was Veterans Affairs Dawg
My tickets are right behind the visitor’s bench. Moore and the rest of their coaching staff and players were doing that shit and Dubs down the entire game. Fucking losers.
Great pod, pods.
I agree with @WoolleyDoog. There are interesting things to see everywhere in America and maybe even in Iowa too.
You didn’t talk about the grass. How many inches of grass is in the forecast?
We referred to grass cryptically
Since y'all got into how Penn State is super far from everywhere, as the bored's official Penn State superiority guy I'll chime in.
You can fly in there, but only on United through Chicago or Dulles, and on American through Philly. James Franklin actually complained at his press conference this week about the runway being too short to get the team to USC so they have to bus to Harrisburg to get there.
It's a constant evaluation on transportation to that place. Harrisburg is 90 minutes, Pittsburgh 2:30+ hours, Baltimore 3hrs, Philly 3:15, Dulles & Reagan ~3:30, Newark 3:45. The hockey team had a tournament in Alaska this week and all flew out of Dulles. While my kid has been at school there, through the end of this year's regular season, her travels will be:
Fly to Sacramento w/ club tennis team, which involved the group of ~12 driving the 3:30 down to Dulles airport for a nonstop.
Fly to LAX, out of State College but connecting in Philly, to cover USC game (group of 2 total due to budget)
Fly to Minneapolis w/ media team (group of 6) to cover Minnesota game, drive to Baltimore for nonstop.
Drive to Morgantown, West Lafayette and Madison for those games plus a drive to Indy for B1G media day. Madison is worst drive there, clocking in at 11:30, but flying costs a ton and only saves a few hours.
You should go to a Penn State game once - and if you make it this year hit me up for a tailgate - but it is a miserable place to get to unless you live driving distance.
I'll be there with my brother. Post more info on your tailgate just before the game (please).
Robert Cray would like a word.
