Where is the 4th win?
-
Waiting to hear from @PostGameOrangeSlices before I go full Cobain
-
ucla is bad but this team is retarded and don't deserve another win.
fire fisch.
-
They might luck into a win.
-
UCLA, Iowa, and Indiana are sure wins.
-
ucla = maybe
iowa/indy = fuck no
-
There are no sure wins with this team.
-
Iowa and Indiana are both on the road. Not happening.
-
the o/u in the iowa game could be 0.5 and id take the under.
-
-
obviously he didn't watch this game nor the first four.
-
Oregon is the 4th win
Retard strength shows up at the end
-
Indiana has a real coach. Google him.
We’re fucked.
-
Michigan at home
-
This fucking team can't even hurry to the line before the 2-minute warning.
I guarantee Indiana is coached 3x as good as sark 2.0 could do. Who do we? play after Michigan so fish can start his own annual 3-game skid?
-
For a staff has preached fundamentals, we sure haven’t figured out how to put the fun back in and have only accomplished the mental.
-
I'm cataclysmic and pessimistic yes. I'm not selling the season though. I doubt Iowa and Indiana are much better than Butgers.
-
The pieces are there to win games
-
I might be dooging I still feel like every game is winnable and as painful as losing the games they have the way they have is, it's better than getting outclassed because you can't fix that. We saw that with UW in 2022 (I don't think we have that talent, but the competition isn't as good either) where they lost to UCLA and ASU but they really beat themselves in both games and they started to slowly roll as they cleaned it up.
-
Skeptical about this coaching staff cleaning things up, starting with themselves.
Fisch was asked how he was going to address the penalty problem. He said he was going to tell the players not to commit penalties.
This shit should have been fixed, at the latest, after the Wazzu game... in practice.
Instead... "Ummm yeah, if you guys could go ahead and not pick up penalties, that would be greeeeeeat."
-
Yeah. I'm pretty neutral. Someone here said they'd rather the team look sound fundamentally but get beat worse.
Fuck that. Part of the reason so many here are so pissed is because the team is literally 2 plays from being undefeated. The potential is there.
Rutgers is a "sound fundamental" team that gave up 521 yards at home on defense in year 5 of Schiano coaching there, to sloppy Warshington.
Yeah they won and that's all that matters, but that is a stable program that didn't lost 20 of 22 starters and get 46 new players.
-
With the cleaning up stuff I doubt having to fly six hours on a short week for a road game helped. I also don't want to pass the blame to the wefs but Villar needs to never fucking ref another UW game this year and I'm about to start spamming Chun with emails to stand up on that. I wouldn't be surprised if it's been decided that UW is sloppy or a chippy team or whatever and they're getting quick to toss flags.
-
You pointed it out. Someone ran from the Weeb sideline in the middle of a play to potentially end our starting TEs season.
A dumbass freshman whoops is up a few feet into the grass and UW has a 7+ point negative swing instantly.
That kind of year so far. UW is both un-clutch and getting fucked by the wefs
-
UW is not getting fucked by the wefs. They're fucking retards that are addicted to committing penalties.
In this game, Rutgers got away with a PI (on a pass that wasn't particularly well placed anyway) and was gifted a facemask that was really borderline. On the other hand, they got away with two coin flip targeting calls.
It wasn't just that the kid ran onto the field to celebrate a live play, it's that he did it five feet in front of the line judge's eyeballs, got yelled at from the sideline to get his ass back, and jumped back off the field, making it pretty damned obvious he knew he was committing a penalty.
