I honestly think it's better for us to not look ahead in this season this way this year. It's a lot of one-game seasons now and we're an underdog to Rutgers. UCLA might be the only game left we would be favored in right now.
Rutgers opens as 2 to 3 point favorites. They are in the late 2000s mode where black outs are still cool and they are greasing themselves up for it. A little controversy is occurring on their boreds where one fan is refusing to participate and will be wearing scarlet. This bodes well for UW.
Why in the fuck can’t Rutgers be a perennially good program? Only answer is Jersey, I suppose, but you’d think the proximity to NYC, media and a zillion people in like 20 square miles would have some advantages.
Same reason Syracuse can't. No one gives a shit about football in the Northeast unless it's the NFL. The best players from that area go elsewhere, usually Penn State.

Looks like UW will be looking for a deal on grease.
Thanks Taft!
7-6 is still in play.

From playing for a National Championship to being an underdog to Rutgers in less than 10 months.
It's what happens when you choke to WSU
UW beats Rutgers.
