Being a great play caller doesn't always equate to being a great college coach. There's recruiting (of course) and having to adjust every year with a new roster. We don't know if Ryan Grubb can be that guy. Just enjoy he can nerd out on the Seahawks offense,

Yeah I was talked out of that here before the season started and it was the right thing to do. I think there's a chance UW might have been better this year, but recruiting would have sucked and it wouldn't work in the long run. I didn't get the vibe either that a bunch of impact players were going to come back/stay for him anyway.
I really feel like the Lambo, Gilby, Jimmy internal coordinator promotion disasters really made it impossible to hire Grubb.

feel like we? would be 1-2 or 0-3 with grubb as HC. entire roster left, doubt he could have gotten anything in the portal. fisch is an asshole, thats why i like him as hc.
