Johnson: Nepotism Coordinators aren't worth much except some Instagram shout outs from Pat McAfee
Can't remember whom to give the shout out to for the headline

Thanks Taft!
Stevie B has been decent this year. Hard to overcome automatic first downs when you stop the team on 3rd down. He doesn’t really coach a position, he calls plays. Kafusi is responsible for the offsides and face masks by the line and edge guys. The DB coach, his name slips my mind, is responsible for not throwing receivers to the ground for no reason. Not our? nepo hires. The PSU center is terrible. Fiddling with the ball multiple times eliciting false starts plus not knowing the snap count, plus grounding a snap are unforgivable. I hope Hatchett just isn’t ready for 60 snaps and isn’t just a bad center because DLo sucks nuts and should never see the field again. Want to blame Carrol for that? Sure, but I’d like to know why he’s still getting trotted out first. Other than that, nice article.
nep·o·tism/ˈnepəˌtiz(ə)m/
noun
I'm still struggling a bit with the Nepotism label here. Do either Pete Carroll or Bill Belichick work for the University of Washington and/or donate large sums of money to it?
Brennan and Stephen both played college football and are descended from coaching royalty, and it seems inevitable that they'd get mixed up in the family bidness. You could say Brennan being on Pete's staff at USC or Stephen coaching under Dad at NE is nepotism. But in this example, it just seems like Fisch has some history with these guys and likes the pedigrees (and clicks)? And if UW didn't hire them someone else would.
Other than that quibble, I enjoyed the article and am glad to see Stalin back at technically gifted writing.
Still feels awkward and shaking the rust out
Tennis coach in visor and nepotism. But hey one really played football
Holy Fuckall!!
Pretty simple. If it works out well with them it wasn't nepotism shit. If it doesn't it was. Okay?
I'm a little worried about another play calling guru guy. I'm already seeing the Sark and Petersen shit of my play design is so brilliant there's only one option in this play then oh shit it's not open, well play dead.
Holy FUCK ALL !!!!
(Fuck you, Peter Puffer and your 53 undetermined units of time)
Obviously the angle is that they'd be fry cooks and not sportsball coaches if their daddies weren't hall of fame coaches themselves. It's not a bridge too far here.
Bill Belichick himself could qualify under some definitions. My definition of a nepot is a next generation one who sucks. If they are good or positively competent, I can’t hate, as many of us follow in some footsteps because we get some valuable early education through witnessing things from the sidelines.
I can follow in my mom's footsteps to have a photographic memory and build lasers for a living…buuuut I can't. The only reason these dudes are where they are is because they were handed jobs by papa. If my dad drove a bus for a living(he killed people for the US Navy) and I couldn't drive, I wouldn't get the fucking job.
Never wear that whatever the fuck shade of gold/yellow color that was
Burn that hoodie. Ugly as fuck.
Pretty much how I feel across all mediums. If you're nepo and you're good I have no problem. If nepos suck or are just average are best I tend to want them to go live off a trust fund and give that spot to someone who is will to live in their car to make it.
If you're good, then you are NOT a nepotism hire. Nepotism is when you are hired for a job that you are unqualified for over other qualified candidates due to a family member being in a position of influence in the organization.
Being good at your job is literally the definition of not nepotism.
Basically, I agree.
@BronnyJamesDawg, true?
Nepotism = chubby dorks with superfluous hair above the neck.
gotta say I’m more fond of our autistic dc than our metrosexual head coach right now
