Dickert gets his team fired up for one early high profile game against Wisconsin/UW, wins, his agent gets the next Power 4 team on the phone that is thinking about looking for a new head coach, and then he shits himself and goes sub 500 the rest of the year.
Last year he wanted the Michigan State job and then lost 5 straight, starting with Chip.
The quarterback is trying to do everything himself. The Cougs need to distribute the responsibility around. Probably will finish greater than or about around 500.
Cougs have a legit chance to run the table which also makes sense why they would put everything into this game knowing this was their toughest game. Jeanty could pose a challenge with Boise but their run defense has been good and Boise's QB sucks and looks like Vince Neil now.
I think ya'll need to take a long walk on a short pier for perspective. You seem to be forgetting we are talking about cuog. Cuog! This was their bowl game. The fact that Cuntert was lighting up stogies afterward, confirms. All you have to do to beat cuog is contain Mateer (which UW did very well in the second half) and not fuck up when you have the ball.
I saw nothing from cuog that impressed me — except the amount of grease they can slather on their bodies and still run plays.
For the record, not the least bit impressed but they basically play in the Mountain West now and you could easily run the table with that schedule not even being that good. I can't think of many games at least not recently where a team had to do less to win a game.
Not that it needed to be said because of how the rest of the next 1.5 seasons went, but the UCLA loss to Chip Kelly was really fucking bad. DeBoer and Grubb have no answer when Penix can't thread the needle between 2-3 defenders on a given night.
WSU is a lot better than even the best MWC teams year in and year out. They are all in on football given the resources they have. They will run that conference they are cobbling together, except for the occasional Boyzee or Boov season

Brilliant take.
Brian Kohlberger is a Coug

Cuog is a one-trick pony. Well, two tricks if one of them is depending on the opponent to kill itself in the foot.
I think it’s finally time to book tickets on the Cuog express bus to the Pac-12 championship game.
Cuog will still find a way to lose four games. Boise, Fresno and San Diego are all on the road. They shot their wad.
Coug is going undefeated or losing one game, probably to Boise on the road.
WSU will fuck it up
They beat a middling husky team led by a retard
The loss was bad, but so was ASU and UCLA in 2022
Time to un-retard, Fisch

San Diego State got stomped by both Oregon State and Cal.
Fresneck could be tricky.
It will be interesting if Coug runs the table and UW finished 8-4 or 9-3. That is going to be a win UW will want back. One fucking yard away.

Yes, but WSU is a Mountain West team. It's not like they're playing down to the competition.

DeBoer and Grubb got very lucky against ASU, WSU, Oregon State, and Oregon round 1 last year. Easily could've lost all those games.
The offense was clutch, however, except against ASU where they somehow won anyways.
