I miss when the QB would throw 4 straight passes where the ball covered 280 yards in the air…regardless of field position, score, or down and distance.
Demond will harken back to the days of Tui next year. Tons of jaw dropping escapes and crazy, edge of your seat plays peppered in with moments of disaster. I’m here for it.
It looks to me like Fish is fucking with line ups, packages, and personnel during the preseason. Then when people blow their shot, they settle into what the offense actually looks like and roll.
I'll be more concerned if the issue persists outside of our preseason play.
I think he’s a really fucking good offensive coach. We’ve run a few immaculately designed plays that he installed very quickly. Metrics superiority guys had AZs offense very close to ours last year.
I thought this too but he just invested 1 million of his own dollars into the UW AD. Doesn’t seem like a move by someone that’s ready split after a year or two. I could be wrong but it sure seems like he’s fixing to stay a spell.
Cam Davis will not be the #2 back when conference play starts. Adam Mohammed is just as talented as Coleman and splitting 20/10 carries between them UW will have the best backfield in the B1G. Fuck whoever Ohio St. runs out there.
Just from what I've seen in the last two games, this is the most purely talented RB combo at UW, ever.
I think we left more points on the field because Penix hated check downs, but he was the most exciting passer I've ever seen and you can't replace that.
It was a plus to get Demond some early time in games that are basically preseason for things like him having that fumble. Hopefully he learns that lesson in a blowout against Eastern Michigan so he doesn't have to when we put him in to run for a first down against non-directional Michigan.
Davis had a run in the last game where a defender was in the hole before he had full possession of a handoff and he shook the guy hard inside and was able to bounce around him for 10 or 12 yards. I assumed it was Mohammad until I saw the number on the jersey. I didn't recall Davis having such sublime hips.

Rogers got his reads down. Just needed to lurk a little
Yes, I think the plan is much deliberate this year. Rogers is a game-manager who should be expected to cash-in off the play action.
I'm fine with a good to great running game and game management passing attack.
I do miss that anticipation when you knew Penix was about to air it out, which was most of the time. I wasn't being real sarcastic. Just a little bit.
He looked like he was in command of the offense, mostly. Unlike a certain other quarterback. Fuck.
penix was a video game qb that i will miss for the rest of my life
The messiah cult QB thing was fun while it lasted. I’ll take solid move the chains type QB for now.

Ahhhh, 3rd and 4…roll out with option to pass or run. I miss those days
Video Game Penix with legs wins us the natty rather easily.

A bring your lunch pail kind of QB?

obvious caveat: he gone

It's actually great advertising for himself and he can say, hey I tried everything I could, before taking another job.
Fisch is multidimensional in his approach to everything to do with football and not a little bitch about anything. Traits that will serve him well.
Could easily be a GM or HC in the NFL, I think he's that talented.

Not gonna happen. Davis is too good in the screen game, and went for 40 yards last week with 6 touches
Dude is underrated if anything
