I spent the first 2-3 years HATING his fucking ass. It changed with him sitting out the apple cup to preserve his RS (and then playing in the CCG and both playoff games). I think I don't hate him out of necessity. We need bodies and experience at the position. Reminds me a lot of Chico McCluthens or whatever his name was. (Fucking HcH, I will not remember the actual names of ANYONE appearing in a 5 reasons).
I think this is one of the challenges of being spoiled by guys like Rome, Jalen, and Jalynn for 2 years straight. We become so accustomed to absolute ballers showing up every single week the the idea of a guy being just a good/better than average college player seems disappointing. I'll take those first world problems.
Giles Jackson is probably a good WR. He will make some plays this season that will be very good, and he'll probably disappear for a few halves. That's more than you can hope for with many players. I hope he's GREAT, but his career so far hasn't proven that he'll develop to that status.
Weird to see him making plays against Alabama and the Big 10 then again Chico McClatcher made a play against Bama too. Super glad they couldn't find a way to get him the ball more than once against his old team in the natty.

I think the point was that he hasn't done shit for UW and that's really painful because he did flash at Michigan.
I'm not anti-Giles, but I lean more toward this sentiment than the idea of him being big-time
this. what do michigan highlights do for us?
for the record i hope he’s good and makes me look like a jamoke

TL;DR - I agree with Wilbur.
