the lines on both sides have a long way to go but if they can keep progressing each week, we? might be onto something. The rest of the team looked serviceable.
I stand by my 10 wins or GTFO.
yeah probably. I do think that as the season goes on, Belichick won’t be rotating players to the degree we saw last night. I think that was part of the deal. There was no continuity in who was playing up front.
If anything, I thought our vaunted linebacking corps played like shit.
This offense has a high ceiling. Mohammed will be the #2 back in a couple weeks, he and Coleman are the perfect types to compensate for a developing OL. Coleman is the best and toughest UW RB since Dillon.
This backfield will be punishing opponents and Rogers is efficient enough to make defenses pay, esp. with a guy like Boston around.
I'm concerned that a lot of screen plays are going to Giles. I don't believe he will be a difference maker against the tougher opponents.
Reminded me a lot of Jake Browning. Just seemed kind of slow. decent in short-range passes but errant in stuff longer than 15 yards. Had a couple 3rd down passes where it seemed like he threw the ball away without actually throwing it away. And the sacks he took were very Browningesque
Gabriel is going to have a ridiculously misleading completion percentage this year. His dink and dunk passing will make Bo Nix look like Payton Manning
Didn’t want to show a lot, first game getting the kinks out. Ramp it all up for Easter Michigun, I’m guessing 90% install. Gonna have to bring the A game after they pounded perennial power Massachusetts. Big step up in competition, classic trap game w/ Wazzu up next on a neutral field, place should be backed w/ crimson and pewter..
This team is good. We are deep at RB, QB is no Penix but he won’t beat us either, he can manage and make plays. Boston and Giles are good, we need Hunter or even Reynolds to step up and threaten a defense. The OL is serviceable and will continue to get better
The secondary is good, LB’s are good but will get better, communication and timing will get there. The DL is fast to the ball and aggressive and there will be some dudes emerging(Butler) however, we don’t have a couple war daddy gap stuffers which we will need against Iowa, Penn, Etc…
Nothing has changed with me, 8-10 wins, a fun team to watch, and this isn’t a rebuild, we will make a push this season and Fisch is stacking the deck for the next couple seasons to beat coaching staffs in the BIG that don’t have the experience or development skills as this staff has
this is a great point. As they figure out who doesn’t suck I don’t see them rotating as many guys. Bruener is cool and hometown hero and everything but if he’s your top dog it might be a long year for that group…excited for house and Bryant from the year before.

8 wins max. QB and OL will ultimately hold us back this year but we are watchable.
I didn’t see a better B1G QB than our? guys yesterday. Granted, I only saw a few of the games, but still.
Gabriel had crazy stats, but he didn’t do anything really impressive.
I knew I would hate Rogers for not being Penix I just had no idea it would be so strong and so soon
Dumb sacks. Dumb qb
He’a likely a better checkdown champ than Nix. That’s impressive.
we’ll get run on though

I'm really happy to have a backfield this good.
I saw actual physically talented players flashing and driving guys backward on contact. That is a sight for sore eyes.
The hitting and defensive pursuit, especially from the DL was improved.
The scheme was fun.
They just need to settle in some more and get off the field. Weber was prolonging drives like a mf.

The Throbber needs to see pics of him in a captains hat piloting a boat or links to his super hot girlfriend’s IG before going full hate mode.
I don't think we've seen what Rodgers ceiling is but Williams looks like he could win a Heisman in year 2
That seems ever so slightly premature.

yea, let’s let Williams complete a pass 5 yards down the field first.

Demond cannot throw for shit. He can be good in an offense built around his strengths, but cmon
