This is a good point. To be fair, part of the pessimism on Penix was just that he was constantly hurt. Penix and Rogers also do share that they had kind of disappointing seasons in their last ones before coming to UW.
I don't expect to hit the lottery twice though.

I think that 70-21 plungering left some ducks (ahem) with a higher impression of brownsox than he deserves. The PTSD makes it almost understandable.
