I watched that Wose Bow live when I was a kid and was as stoked for the championship as anyone else. It's been a while, though, so remind me how close the game was. I know two of the TDs would have been called drops if replay was a thing back then.
You’re thinking of the Nebraska game in 92. The Kralik TD in the back of the end zone was truly an awful call. The TD by Bailey from Brunell in the Rose was down on the goal line for sure but UW had Michigan seeing ghosts by that point. They’d have scored on the next play. That game should have been 41-7 if James had kept the starters in and if he was more cutthroat as a coach. Being classy cost UW valuable votes and possibly a full title.
It was definitely Bailey. I thought there were two of them.
