I get it. Our props and the way the social media team portrays official visits is much more "current" and, dare I say, urban. The graffiti backdrop seems to be a huge hit with players, also, people can knock the umbrella, but once we started doing other schools started copying really quickly afterwards.
I am a traditionalist. I'll grumpily sit on my porch and yell about 800 jersey combos until the day I die. However, I really don't care what the team wears, and what props we use, as long as the best young football players want to come play at UW.
All this stuff seems decent to me but really seems like every team is just doing different versions of the same stuff so as far as recruiting goes it's mostly just NIL, coaching staff, NFL development, winning/exposure and depending on the kid location.
I do think the jerseys and everything look better than they did during the Nike years and earlier Adidas years.
