another woof

12 hours and no update and Eklund says it's big. Is Siaosi Finau coming back too the progrum?
-
-
Thata a nice offer list.
-
this is a big win. DSD approves. Now go do it 20 more times.
-
-
You guys who hated Fischy a few days ago still hate him?
-
When there's a will, there's a way.
-
I didn't hate him. I just have been developing serious skepticism if he can get anywhere near delivering the level of classes he said he could and if he could recruit much better than DeBoer. This is a nice commitment but it's awful cold and warm for June at the same time still.
-
44 replies, and I thought something big went down. Almost killed myself halfway through reading them, then got to some actual positive news. I’m still on the ledge.
-
no hate, just normal skepticism to be expected here mixed in with a dash of I want to kill myself which should be expected from me.
And one crootin win does not make a good crooter. But it is very encouraging as none of the “experts” thought he was leaning this way.
Stack talent. -
That made me think about the picture someone posted 6 years ago with Kramer on the ledge and someone leaning out the window saying "Remember how excited you were about Dwayne Washington?" HAHAHA
-
Crystal Dongs coming in for LB from Auburn riverside. He's ranked the #2 player in the state
-
Wish there was also a Danny Shelton type in the 2025 class to take on double-teams and keep OL from reaching Zadarius and Epperson.
-
I remember Petersen crootin had zero momentum and then rode a serious poly wave to a ridiculous class. I believe it started with Mosiah Nasili Kite. Who knows? Maybe we just got a spark🤷♂️🤷♂️
-
Washington getting a highly rated in state recruit would be fucking crazy, quite honestly.
-
deboner could recruit?
-
FB live that shit please.
-
Update: he committed to Illinois
Not terribly surprising since his OC from UTSA is the OC at Illinois
-
-
That dude looks like he's 25 years old
-
I’ll be pissed if we lose this one unless I’m missing something.
-
We always lose to Ucla
-
visor on the table!
-
agreed
-
I always thought the Ballmer stuff and using Amazon/MSFT money to buy a class was a long shot at best, but by the time this cycle ends I do think they will be around 20 or so.
People that actually watch tape closely (I don't) thought DeBoer's #32 class was a top 25 class. We're never not going to try and outscout people or rely on taking some guys like Wayne where we let some other school overpay for them first and then they're ready to come back and work.
-
i forgot we picked Wayne back up
This roster is so much better than it's being given credit for
-
My problem is that people are acting like 5-7 or 6-6 isn't even a question.
So after we roll through our soft ooc schedule we only win 2 games? Northwestern, Indiana, UCLA. Iowa is a shittier version of Utah and doesn't have a cake divional schedule anymore. Everyone seems to think USC is soft. Rutgers is better lately but..
It's schedule that practically gifts 7+ wins. These B1G teams don't have as much skill talent as the incoming Pac schools.
-
Yeah, Wayne was a nice little forgotten pickup. I forgot about the DEs/OLBs from Arizona too. I think the spring portal was disappointing so everyone kind of forgot DeBoer actually had some decent pick ups in winter who stayed and a few nice pieces came from Arizona, beyond Coleman and Prysock, who are also being forgotten a bit.
DeBoer's recruiting was underrated and I think he saw through some of the overrating of four star guys, especially out west. It's gonna suck if Austin Mack specifically ends up being great.

This roster is going 8-4
