Is it better to take the local kids early and then let them walk away when it seems better players are coming or circle back on local kids after ignoring them until you’ve whiffed on your top targets? This is a new way of doing things.
I suspect that the local kids are going to continue to try to jump on offers early in the process to ensure that they have a seat at the table
I doubt we directly said "go take another offer" but the writing being on the wall that we're planning on continuing to recruit players that perhaps have higher ceilings or at minimum promote competition is going to be there
IF a local kid doesn't want to compete for their spot and choose to get on the field earlier at a place with a better path then so be it

Mormons got money. Doog says we’re? in on other guys and they told him to look else where…
i never liked the wr as someone we should take. GSHL is gross for skill positions.
We took 5 WR last year, and Raiden, Lawson, and Harris proved their worth this spring.
Better path to playing tim at BYU
this one’s a stretch.
kids tall.
This. Who was the last good player out of the Vancouver area? I honestly can’t remember.
They make good linemen sometimes. Skill position players are a different story. Never good.
Vancouver doesn’t count as Washington. HTH.
