Saw Poolman which I didn't agree with all the negative reviews it's getting. It's obviously not on the same level as Lebowski and Under The Silver Lake but I did laugh at a lot of it and thought that Chris Pine plays a decent stoner dude.
Also watched Bows In The Boat for the 3rd time since it's free now. Some corny lines really stand out now but still love it. The coaches sweaters they wear in that are fucking amazing. I walked past most of the actors that play the rowers at the Spring Game. The runt in that movie really is that small.
Started Godzilla Minus One before I got too tired but damn, I'm pretty impressed so far. Essentially a WWII movie from the Japanese perspective that looks better than most monster movies with 1/20th of the budget.
Never had seen it. Had no idea what it was about except I knew who was in the cast from being somewhat of a pop culture junkie. I was easily entertained. Much more effects than I expected.
It was like Rollerball but with cars. Never knew Sylvester Stallone or Martin Kove were in it. And the woman who played Carmella in Last American Virgin was even in it. Some tits and bush shots as well. And David Carradine in leather speedo.
Terrorism in Saudia Arabia where the FBI guy convinces a Prince to let the 4 FBI counterterrorism guys run loose in his homeland. Lots of explosions and high tech stuff. No one wins, just like real life in the battle agin terrorist. Of course the state dept looks like idiots so real life again.

Started a Battlestar Galactica rewatch on prime starting with the mini series
Still seems timely. Bad robots
The new version or the OG?
New which is now about 20 years old

Sucks to be you.
The Throbber has seen Hundreds of Beavers.
There’s a movie called that too?

Heard this is worth seeing.
watched Top Secret! last night. I was laughing before it started thinking of all the stupid shit in the movie.
I showed this movie to my kids when they were like eight. I had TOTALLY forgotten how hard they pushed R ratings back then!
Godzilla Minus One
To me it was OK. It was a more stylized version of a 1960s Japanese Godzilla movie
Lawnmower Man.
never saw it when it came out. I am guessing the effects were out of this world in 1992.
Beetlejuice

It's a great movie to get jerked off to.
Too perfect. MAX canceled after season 2.
I read that too. What the fuck.
That show could go up against most of their top 10 shows of all time, imo.
Finally got around to watching Band of Brothers, which is fucking excellent.
Mr. Church.
A decent Eddie Murphy movie where is helps out a family and such.
DeathRace 2000

Chinned for the Carmella reference. Adolescent/early teen Chuck developed some new habits thanks largely to that movie.
Watched The Kingdom

Good movie unless you want the US to always win.
