Any interest in being the Penn State White Out game?
If not confirmed already, seems like our kick time vs PSU will be 3:30 EST on CBS.
Other kick times are starting to be set and the only confirmed nighttime kick PSU has is against Illinois. PSU folks assumed UCLA would be the white out but some other game was prioritized for the night kick for whichever network has the B1G primetime rights that Saturday.
They wanted their home vs tOSU but that is assumed to end up as a B1G Noon game. Seems like a chance it goes to 7:30 but TBD, since that weekend is also Oregon - Michigan and Washington - USC. West coast teams should not be agreeing to noon kicks especially for tough opponents.
The past couple of years have been lame opponents for the White Out, Iowa last year (ranked 24), Minnesota in 2022 (lol, I went to this, Row the Boat is embarrassing) and Auburn in 2021 (ranked 22), which defeats the purpose of the White Out. Between 2012 and 2019 it was always the tOSU or Michigan home game.
Our game happens the weekend after daylight savings so it will be fairly dark anyway. Even though we might not be that good we still played for the Natty last year and for their home schedule it is us and tOSU as the only actual teams going to State College this year.

Aren't the white out games for PSU usually night games?

12:30 on CBS at Penn State?
The cuogs silence speaks volumes.

A couple of them were day games in the past, but recently it's been always at night.

Anyone else triggered by this thread?

I'm a little triggered by the title because it's making me question who I want to be and how many mushrooms it would take to actually become a Penn State white-out game. It's appealing in a strange way. I haven't said no yet.

Victory for Trump, IMO.

No interest in sitting thru cold(er) ass weather and driving late at night to accomodations two hours away. Day gayme please. And, yes, I have a back up reservation closer to state college JIC the shittiest thing possible happens.

It will be at 3:30. We're not going to accept a 7:30 kick when we play on Friday the next week.
I'm suggesting a 3:30 kick for the white out, when sunset is before 5pm anyway.
